Is my TFA Blueberry Extra off?

It taste like wet socks, surely that’s not normal?

i have tried 8 different strawberries and they all taste like garbage to me in a vape except 1. but they all taste great in a drink like sprite

people can be sensitive to certain compounds its a bit of a lottery, and very common.
or you got a bad batch

I actually like the taste of wet socks. :stuck_out_tongue: Most of the strawberry flavors kinda get me in the back of the throat like an old dried out cigarette. I like real ripe strawberries in real life.
I think that taste buds vary a lot between individuals, then you toss in the fact that these artificial flavors are well… artificial, and you can see how subjective flavors can be.
I actually love cilantro in my food while I’ve heard others think that cilantro taste like a bar of soap.

It’s really interesting and bizarre at the same time because I have like three other Blueberry’s and a Bilberry, Blueberry FW, Blueberry Extra CAP, Blueberry Wild TPA and a Bilberry FA and none of them taste like wet socks to me but my TFA/TPA Extra is horrible, I suppose the only way to know for sure is to buy another, got it from a reputable supplier so was a little confused but I have heard this can be a thing.

@SpeedeeVape many very good, and accurate Blueberries do have a natural musky taste to them. If it’s overpowering, or doesn’t settle in, in a mix, then maybe. I’ll have to smell mine as I use it, but use TPA Blueberry Wild far more.

That’s exactly how it tasted to me the first time I tried it. It took a long time but now I like it which is a testament to how our tastes evolve or change along with our body chemistry (enzymes). I’ve been waiting years to be able to find a lemon flavor that doesn’t come across as furniture polish. Lemon Pound Cake (SSA) works pretty well for me, though. At least I have ‘one’.

Yeah, and some of it is from memory associations. Somebody you know probably used Pledge a lot to polish their wood furniture when you were young. I have a few of those memory associations, some are not very pleasant. Smell is a very potent memory stimulant.

That is so true. Scientists say it’s the most potent memory stimulant. Not sure if they know why but if I take a whiff of English Leather, my father is standing right next to me. It’s uncanny.

How long have you had that concentrate? IIRC, most if not all of the TFA blueberry variants fade in mixes - at least in my experience -maybe yours is simply old.

I bought it from Vapable two weeks ago. suppose it depends how long they’ve had it.
