Hi everyone I’ve made a recipe Ben’s delicious strawberry’s and cream cake and where it normally say’s “you can make this”.
Its saying I’m missing ingredients which is not true can anybody shed some light please on this many thanks

I think what can happen is that your stash does not match the aromas of the recipe … One of the two is wrongly introduced … Check your stash and check the flavors of the recipe…

When you add a flavor to the recipe, when you put the first letters, several options are displayed, green are the flavors of your stash. In black, other options that are not in your stash …

In your stash you have butter cream and in the recipe, buttercream.
If you click on the icon next to “you are missing ingredients” the missing ingredients will be marked in color and you will be able to discover where the error is

If you run into this problem… click on the x on the bottom of the recipe to highlight which flavor you are missing. Then cross check with your stash and double-check the spelling. I know it’s not easy if you have dyslexia, but those highlights should make it easier to spot.

Your recipe has:


flavor/310811

Your stash has:


flavor/8746

They’re 2 different entries. The latter Strawberries is the correct one, the strawberry is incorrect.

Just replace your recipe with the flavor from your stash (should pop up first when you start typing it in)

Rarely am I able to do these “on request”, but you had lucky timing. :stuck_out_tongue: (You could always submit them into the Dupes cue. At least that would make sure they aren’t missed/forgotten about in a stray/random forum thread!! :wink: )

It would be much safer and cheaper to just buy the flavors if you ask me.

I think it’s not easy … For extracts, you can do as Medicine Flower, with CO2 and other processes; and to create them you must be an expert in the food chemistry industry …

And own a lab with a clean room and have an advanced knowledge or degree in chemistry. Once you get your clean room you have to get it rated to ppm of contaminants and pay someone dearly to analyze it for you.
Or you could go to Bull City Flavors and get 8 different flavors for like 20 bucks.
And not die from inhaling strawberry seeds.

They were a lot nicer to me when I asked if I could infuse grain Alchohol with juniper berries about 5 months ago. Which would have killed me. There’s a lot to think about.
So I took the snarky route and for that I apologize.
