I was the same way. God forbid I took a day off. Many a day I worked when I should have stayed home. Dedication to a fault.

Sorry to hear about the health emergency…always a bad thing.
I felt like a wuss once from coughing & breaking 2 ribs.
You’ve got me beat though collapsed lung beats broke ribs Everytime.
Through life I’ve learned to no attempt to explain your choices & technical information to those that can’t understand because your wasting you breath this type of close mindedness does have the feature
to learn very well.

I don’t know man, that’s equally messed up, if not more…I’m leaning towards more! I don’t know if I would say wuss, that takes some serious muscle power to break a bone like that! Especially 2!

I think I fell in mine! 18 hours of non-stop running and everything physical sure messed my ass up! I’ve done some stupid shit but this is up there for receiving the dumbass award of the year! Whatever was done to my spine before is feelin about 10x worse tonight…I sense a trip back to the hospital if this hasn’t settled by morning…
Thank Jebus this is all workmen’s comp…

ummm…maybe think about a little rest before going back on duty? What happened to you sounds like some serious business.

Couldn’t agree more…that’s where being the boss is a bit of a double edged sword…I can…should…be able to come and go when I please but at the same time my staff are lost when I’m not there. So like today I had a catering project for almost 4,000 people and there was no way I couldn’t come in…
I have the next 3 days off though so I get to play “big baby” and have the wife take care of me  Hmmm…I should teach her how to mix and then I would be set! Just lay in bed and throw recipes at her!

I posted this in the call to action thread but I think it is relevant here as well in case it gets over looked…
Has anyone taken the time to look on the FDA’s site at their "Adverse Event Reports for e-Cigarettes"
Reading them kinda makes me wish they showed the name of the people submitting these claims…I’m sure some of them can be very real and I don’t want to take away from that but for example some person filed a report saying he/she was in a movie theater and had massive pain, numbness, itching, unusual sensation, Tired, weak, dizzy, confused, feel bad/sick, the list goes on…When she discovered there was a guy 4 rows in front of her with an ecig and he was the source of her problem.
The FDA is FULL of events like this!! Its appalling and it makes me sick just reading them! This is the first time I thought to actually go to the fda’s site to do some research instead of the Casaa and all the call to action sites I frequent…it’s unbelievable and a false representation as we know that is just massively feeding the general public!
They go as far as to say vaping is linked to congestive heart failure, disorientation, seizure, hypotension, and other health problems.
That’s all they need to do is say vaping is linked to heart failure on the news just once and it’s all over…
WHO IS SENDING IN THESE EVENTS!!! and where are all the files on the positive…

I did a service call. The woman lectured me for 20 minutes stating that vaping was the reason for her being disabled from a massive heart attack. She went on to say that she didn’t have any medical issues until she started vaping. She urged me to stop vaping.

It’s really sad when someone catches POPCORN LUNG in the movie theater like that. Perhaps her employer, Phillip Morris, can help her out with the medical bills…

I just had to stop reading all this shit on the FDA’s site because I’m minutes away from punching my computer screen!! It is funny how they leave some information out on these Adverse Event Reports but conveniently only leave that info on…I can’t believe I haven’t looked at all that garbage before, even though I now regret it because it make me loose even more hope…

Try to have a little hope. It’s very possible this stuff could wind up blocked in the courtrooms since all this crap is not based on fact. Hopefully Casaa or some other entity will tie them up in court for a few years…

I admire your optimism @ringling every time I completely loose all mine you smack me back out of it

As my pseudo-momma always taught me “Hope for the best, plan for the worst.” Stock up on what you can that could be ‘outlawed’ like nicotine liquid (or just drop nicotine) and hardware, learn to build coils, mix your own juice, and hope to whatever divinity you do (or don’t!) worship that someone, somewhere has some sense and this whole ‘banning and taxing’ mess gets shut down.

Well, now you know why and don’t do it again! :vertical_traffic_light: Bullshit is very bad for the brain and is also linked to congestive heart failure. Just stay away from bullshit mountain and avoid mountains of bullshit and you’ll be fine.

Bullshit is a known carcinogen when inhaled. It is also said that bullshit clogs coils so use sparingly. I always take my bullshit in small doses so not to be overwhelmed…lol
