Just released from ER to be met with severe ignorance

Really?? Wow! How the hell did I not know this?!?! Research time!

It sort of reminds me of when I use to smoke and no matter what you went to the doctor for the cigarettes were the cause of it.

I think it is just smoking in public places indoors that is meant by that, they made that illegal almost everywhere.

[/quote]That’s what my sister told me, but when she quit smoking everything was due to her being overweight :grinning:

Okay yeah that makes a lot more sense then! Smoking was banned indoors years ago, in the majority of places. That’s why when he said that I thought he meant it was banned in Kentucky as in all cigarettes are banned in Kentucky lol

Are you kidding, and leave all that tax money laying around?

That’s why I was freaked the fuck out! And out of Kentucky of all places! I mean no disrespect to those who live in Kentucky but that’s the last place I would expect a cigarette bands maybe the more uppity hipster States or like in Maine or Rhode Island but Kentucky? Hell fucking no

I had to do a quick, by state search, as well to see if the whole of Kentucky was screwed on the tobacco thing. But, no, just in specific locations.

Ditto…from what it looks like, local ordinances take precedence over the state one even if the local ones are more relaxed. First time i’d ever heard of local overriding a higher-up, but I’m admittedly a little uninformed when it comes to the ins and outs of law and politics.

Errrrr, me too. Bless my wife’s heart, she tries to keep me informed, but I’m kinda like a ā€œturkey in the rainā€ when it comes to that stuff. : (

You can’t LEGALLY smoke anywhere except in a shop that only sells tobacco goods, or on your on property. HOWEVER, if you’re a renter, you better be headed outdoors to light up or you could be evicted. Also you can’t smoke in your car within so many feet of a school or public park.
This is what happens when something outrageous is quietly put on the state ballot and everybody thinks it’s so ridiculous it’ll never pass so they don’t bother to go vote it down! Tobacco was KY’s largest cash crop, now the largest cash crop is illegal. I joined CASSA in hopes of keeping my vaping rights cause if vaping is outlawed I will be also.I personally think Vaping should be marketed as a diet aid…its the only time I’ve quite smoking and not gained weight! I want chocolate cheesecake, I vape chocolate cheesecake…no guilt! :yum:
