Labware - Recommends?

Just curious who ya’ll use for your labware supplys? I was just surfin’ around and thought I’d ask and get some recommendations.

I usually buy from wizard labs but they really don’t have much of a selection these days… and at the rate i’m breaking graduated cylinders I should probably find a better vendor.

Sorry can’t help you, I use a scale and mix directly into my bottles. I do use a pipette for my nic, but other than that, just the flavor bottles  I think one of the girls here found a good place for erlenmeyer flasks etc

NP. Yeah, I need to get a scale… It’s a shame because I used to have one but I sold it on eBay a few months before I started mixing! ha…

Good opportunity to get the American Weigh LB-501  It seems it’s the scale of choice among the Americans  It has a mains adapter, and when using that, there is no auto-shutoff…

I have an LB-1000 that’s like new. All the packaging and docs. Works perfect. Will sell if you want it. $25 incl shipping if in continental U.S.

But that’s 0.1g and not 0.01g, right?

Correct. Works great if you are mixing 60ml or more at a time.

I buy most of my glassware from Amazon, carefully reading comments before i order but i generally stick with Karter Scientific equipment.

Hehe, thank you and i wish. When i got back from vacation my wife surprised me by flying out one of my closest and oldest friends. A few months ago she informed me she has a bad form of breast cancer so it was really nice to spend time with her. Towards the middle of her stay she started feeling sick and wanted to go home so i went back to Sacramento with her for almost two weeks. California + ginger = ouchies :frowning: It was fun for awhile but so much time away from home sucks, but the weed there, WOW.

Amazon! I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that. No. Seriously. I really don’t know why that hadn’t occurred to me.

It happens, hehe. You could also use plastic, LDPE/HDPE, graduated cylinders for nonvolatile flavorings.

Sorry to hear about your friend! But hey, family and friends is what life’s all about; glad you had the time to chill with her. We missed ya though! Welcome back. ; )

I’ve purchased flask and glass cylinder sets from ebay (from China) and they were well made and dirt cheap. It did take about 2.5 - 3weeks but it was well worth it. The markings didn’t matter as I use a scale, but the large mouth flasks work great. No spills or drips.

Hi I recently picked up some 10 ml Erlenmeyer flasks on eBay they are from a lab supply place in St. Augustine , Florida. Not too bad on pricing certainly it’s better to buy more than one ( in case you break one hee hee ) and for shipping purposes 7$ for 1 so I bought 3 ! My lil flask has a magnet in it but you can see what I mean about the size and the search on eBay showed them in a lot of different sizes. If your not using a magnetic mixer for spinning the ejuice then baker is very nice as well I have 3 of them different sizes and believe I got them in Amazon cheap !

I also use scales these days, no need for any labware, hurray! Clean, precise, easy - this is how I love my DIY!

For a Scale, I have the America Weight Scales SC-501A. I am VERY happy with it. Even in Battery mode it has never timed out on me (maybe it doesn’t have auto off). Nice bright blue display, power adapter or battery, not big and bulky, the works. I highly recommend it…

SC-501A doesn’t have the greatest ratings on amazon… I care because I base all decisions I EVER make on amazon ratings in conjunction with fox news…

This one hasn’t failed me yet and it’s inexpensive. Yes, it’s an Amazon purchase, so while you’re at it you can buy a gallon of Tuscan Whole Milk at the same time! Great reviews on the Tuscan Whole Milk!
