Lipo Mods - Steam Punk

Hi Guys,

I want to get one more mod. I have a Tesla Steam Punk LIPO Mod - and I love it.

However…

My concern right now is how long will a battery like this last? Should I steer toward getting another mod that uses 18650’s because of this nonsense going on with the FDA? If anyone knows how long the onboard LIPO type mods last … it would help me make the choice… and thanks!

You will likely get 3-5 years life from the LiPo battery pack. The LiPo battery pack could likely be easily replaced if you’re mechanically inclined enough to disassemble the mod, replace it, and reassemble the mod. If you’re not keen to undertake that task, you very much should consider picking up a mod or two (and even a mech mod, for when electronics go tango uniform) that use readily available 18650 style batteries.

…just my opinion, FWIW.

I think @ZeroedIn thoughts has covered it well.I think a good mod would be a dual 18650 mod just for ease of replacement.
I see several people buying the VT133 mod right now and the E-Fusion Duo.The e-fusion duo has the capability to run on Lipo’s and dual 18650’s so when on the go you can just swap batteries. The VT133 is a little cheaper and I am thinking of picking one up just in case.
I do have the Mini E-Fusion and have had no problems with it and I do love the looks but battery life isn’t the best.I vape heavy and in the 65 watt range so it won’t last me all day.I compensate by carrying two mods to work both Dna 200 devices and both have the 900 mAh rating. My work day consists of a ten hour shift with a little less than three hours traveling so 13 hours total.
I think the VT133 will be my next purchase so I can just swap batteries as needed.
I think @Whiterose0818 posted a place that had them for less than $100.00.

I have while searching for a deal on the VT133! I like the fact that the one I seen can use a 18650 or a 26650.

Not to worry, the tobacco companies will have mods available but they will be steeply overpriced. Also, I’m sure the FDA will rubber stamp all approvals for their mods as well as waive the licensing fees all while passing them a handful of bills with each rubber stamp.

I really love this mod. I think I can live with even 3 years. My inclination has been to get another cuboid but I love this dumb thing.

Been eyeing that one hard. Reviews on it all look great too. DNA innards in single bat mod. I can see a couple of those in my future. Vape NW has a nice discount code on the preorder brings it down around $80 too.

No, cheaper now. 49.00

The Steampunk…not DNA whoops sorry.

I have a Cuboid. It’s a great device, and they’re selling at many places for around $40 or so. Highly recommended. A stainless UWELL Crown on top of a stainless Cuboid looks va va voom!

Agreed. I run a Cleito tank on top of Cuboid. I like it a lot…batteries will not quit and it’s a great mod…that’s why I’m kind of wrenching over this… but it misfires once in a while.

The Steam Punk just looks so darn cool… awww, so hard to decide!

I just looked up the Tesla SteamPunk mod - that is a cool looking device. I’d like to have one in the greenish color.

Great idea - best of both worlds.

I like that idea… hmmmmm…I see a lot of fabric appliques but I would need metal, any ideas?

Vinyl wrap maybe?
