I’m hoping someone with experience in flavour concentrates can help identify or recreate a discontinued e-liquid.
For many years I exclusively used Vype eTank Blended Tobacco (British American Tobacco). When it was discontinued, I spent months trying replacements until I eventually found Cirro Regular Tobacco (the later BAT/10 Motives version made in Poland around 2021–2025). To me, the two liquids were virtually identical.
Unfortunately Cirro has now also been discontinued, and after trying dozens of commercial tobacco liquids I still haven’t found anything close.
I’ve already tried:
- Halo Tribeca
- Original C Regular Tobacco
- Hangsen Virginia
- VS Fifty 50 Caramel Tobacco
- Various RY4 blends
They all have far too much tobacco flavour.
The flavour I’m trying to recreate is best described as:
- 50VG / 50PG
- 18mg freebase nicotine
- Extremely mild and smooth
- Almost neutral
- Barely any tobacco flavour
- No smoky, earthy, woody or nutty notes
- Just the faintest buttery caramel/vanilla finish (similar to the subtle aftertaste of a Werther’s Original)
- More like an unflavoured nicotine base with a tiny amount of flavour than a traditional tobacco e-liquid
If you removed the slight buttery/caramel finish, it would almost taste like an unflavoured base.
Does this flavour profile remind anyone of a particular concentrate or recipe?
I’m happy to mix my own liquid and would really appreciate any suggestions for concentrates and starting percentages.
