Hey, that’s cool! Thank you.
If you are interested in seeing more info like Rocky posted, here is the link to the TPA/TFA spec sheet page
https://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/specsheetlist.aspx
You can view the SDS sheets or components list for most (all?) of their flavors.
When you view the components list for a flavor, you can then click on a particular component and it will give you a listing of all their flavorings that contain that compound.
Awesome! Very helpful thank you. This will definitely be going into the bookmarks for refrence!!
This is a great thread. Very all encompassing title. I’m actually looking for some flavor knowledge myself.
I’ve been unable to capture the beautiful, irrisistable essence of apple pie and ice cream. I got plenty of baked apple flavors to work with, but I need an ice cream. The creams I tried didn’t really work well it seems. I think SSA would be good, but I need an ice cream thats really ice creamy and will layer with the baked apple rather than totally mix with and change.
Anyone have a suggestion for the best ice cream to go with baked apple?
I may have also used a little too much apple flavoring, so I will definitely go back to the drawing board.
What have you tried for ice cream?
You are most welcome, I’m happy to be of help!
I’ve even checked out older versions of that page on the Internet Archive to look for info on discontinued flavorings.
I have to revisit SSA vanilla ice cream with apple pie, it’s one of my favorites but I think it’s missing something. I’ve tried fa vanilla gelato and wonder flavor vanilla gelato as well. I need something that’s just a strong, full, creamy white vanilla Ice cream.
You can use liquid barn vanilla ice cream or TPA vanilla bean ice cream as your only ice creams usually. Liquid barns custardy type. Sometimes I back my ice creams with 1% Fa Vienna cream. I’ve used WF vanilla ice cream, but it’s lacking in the ice cream, but still a good flavor, at 3% and 1.25% Fa Vienna cream. Just some ideas other than SSA’s ic. Also Nomz vanilla ice cream is better than LB in my opinion, another option.
Yay! Thank you for the advice.
