thanks to everyone, i have loads of fun mixing
I spend ALOT of time seeking out other people’s recipes
i recently started trying some on my own, albeit a very limited basis
i try to always credit the source if my recipe page is not marked “private”
also, i mentioned “hundreds of bottles” - not all are flavors though lol!
plenty of Frankenstein mixed n matched…
my guy loves blueberry, i love all things custard, vanilla & ry4 (and butterscotch, etc)
we are most happy when vaping

look forward to mingling more soon :hugs:

It seems nobody has posted here in quite some time…nevertheless, hello and good evening/morning etc…I have been experimenting for a month or two here on the site, but tonight I created a flavor stash so thought I would pop in and say hello~

Thats an unusual set of flavours right there for a first run, or is it just me? Did you buy your list based off a recipe or just randomly pick a few? Nevertheless you most definitely do have something to work with there, i dont have a particular recipe as such but maybe you could start with - what kind of profile do you want? Fruit? Dessert? Cream? etc, if just fruit then its easy, pick your main fruit. Pick a secondary fruit to accentuate primary, add sweetener.
But if you wanted something a little more than just fruit, then still first pick what you want as your main flavour, example “i want something blueberry but more than that” then add to that, ie blueberry, berry crunch & maybe a touch of greek yogurt as an extra layer? You could also add a touch of strawberry in to compliment the blueberry.
& just kinda work forward from there until you start picking up some more flavours.
I would also suggest doing at least some single flavour tests, even if its just the ones you may want to try in creating your own recipe. To create recipes you dont have to use lots of flavours like most people do, you can start with single flavour testing, quickly move on to 2 flavours, then try 3 etc etc.

Hope someone else can chime in with an actual recipe for you to get you going while you start.
Oh, & welcome.

Thank you! Session drummer? I am a private studio guitarist/pianist. Power to the music baby!

I want to let whom ever it might concern know that as far as making things easier (I was reading past post about issues with not specifically naming and correctly identifying flavors when more than one make up a recipe).

So I have gone back and made sure all of my recipes flavors are spelled out correctly. I put them in the order that the recipe lists them, along with each % respective to the total Mil value of the recipe. For example, if I am making Sweet cream and NY cheesecake it will say only those flavors, enumerated then by the Sweet cream % i.e. 5:70 followed by 10:70 (respective to the NY Cheesecake 10.)

I’ve noticed since doing this that my flavors and recipes come up within searches much better and one can look at the numbers and quickly decide or move on you see? that is without having to go into each recipe. I am open and teachable for any suggestions or ideas to make it better. I’m in data analytics and have found that these quick guides such as when customizing Tableau etc…help a lot with efficiency.
Take it easy, session drummer!

Dude, just took a quick peek. FIELD LENGTH. You do get truncation on some of your listings.
"Banana n bread/Cheesecake/Cinnamon crunch/Strawberries & Cream (8:70-2.5: "
Because it’s 70 ml, you might wanna go with volume right after that open paren like (70 8:2.5:1:5) or something like that. And then what happens when the number of flavors alone fill the length
"Cheesecake(graham crust)/Custard premium/Strawberries & cream/Sweet cream ( "
See what I mean?
Because this is really only of benefit to you, you might wanna just create your own shortforms like SB for strawberry. BNB for banana nut bread.

First, of all, Big Vape- thank you very much for your insight and taking the time to take a look; much appreciated.
So I started the way you suggested when I first came around to this great site. However, and I may be misconstruing the context of two different things, but, I was instructed to be careful or mindful of the fact that people search for flavors by their proper spelling which could create mix ups for flavors abbreviated differently everywhere. Or, I would have a recipe name, and that did not work as this site is supposed to help not hinder people in selecting relevant recipes, ya know? I do get that…both of those points. I have attempted to address these concerns in my system…
Regarding your suggestion on the volume thing. You do realize the numbers represent individual % and are (each said flavor % in said recipe) then followed by the ml amount made? I ask this because you suggested if I am correct here, that I put the volume in front of the other numbers? I can np. Whatever you guys think I am easy bro.

I see you notice the length on some and yes a couple pass the point of discernable info. Overall with the full names of the flavors for ease of search criteria, and the amounts given what do you think? Should I try another way?

D. Sims, you are the man! I am truly taken aback here. Thank you for the heavy lifting on this and I certainly owe ya one, so what comes around my friend! Na, anyway I do appreciate ya and again I was unsure when I got into the flavor stashing etc…and as a result, yea…kind of disaster lol. But thanks again; it is rare these days to find cool stuff like doing something for somebody out of kindness. You are a good human bro.
I will do some thinking on simplifying my system again overall and see what comes out…it may take me a bit as work has got me up to here- like all of us…but listen, take care bro!
