I am running it SS316 TC, 430F at 50 watts but runs fine at 50 watts in power mode too. The wicking really keeps up.

I think I gotta revisit tc if it working good on that compex coil, I got my Ursa all built with the ub pros but havenāt tried it yet. Got the other small rba for the small tank too, no comparison, donāt bother with it

i just put a 4mm ss 32x6 38 5 wrap coil in it. but my wicks are much longer than yours. i am getting about no flavor from it.

Loose wicks are the key, almost to the point of leaking. When I had longer wicks the flavor suffered. You can probably just cut the wicks once the top is on as close as your scissors will get

i am looking at vids, i didnāt see MV build it. but i did watch Wendy and i did it like she did, but i didnāt thin as much. and my coil is down on the deck. oh, and i used the cotton that came with it

that is how my first try was, but it was somewhat packed. i just rewicked it and thinned the tails pretty good, and i used rayon this time. its noticably better.
but my coil and juice are questionable, so i probably am not getting top performance. currently my top flavor banger is the Destiny

I have just been impressed and have run at least 40 ml through that wick and build, that is if it indeed holds 5ml per fill.
I have not tried a 4mm like your build, maybe too much wick? I was thinking of going 4mm next but this 3.5mm hex core has been excellent.

to much tails the first time = yep. 2nd time, the tails are the same lenght, like yours, but i thinned em out a lot, as you say, close to looking like they are going to leak. i have flvor now, but its not good, could be my new juice or the new SS coil, or ?
btw. after a few hits off it, open the fill cap and try to dump some juice out. lmk

Hard to say what the problem is, have you tried the new juice in another tank?
Next build try a 3.5mm, maybe the 4mm is just not suited to the deck? Havenāt had a chance to try a 4mm yet myself. I also have my coil about maybe 2mm off the deck, I say maybe because I didnāt measure it, just going by memory which is shaky at best. I usually wind my SS316L coil on the 3.5mm post, with SS it is always springy so guessing they have an inner diameter of 3.7mm. When I install the coil it sits on the deck touching, I then pull up the coil as far as I can so it is tight on the 3.5mm post. Sometimes you have to dry burn the coil at 20 watts to soften it up so it is not too springy.
What happens when you take a few hits then try to dump the juice out? I am guessing the juice doesnāt want to come back out the small juice hole? I have only dumped juice from it once to change flavors and redo my wick. I pulled the coil and and rinsed the tank with water.

yeah, so far, its not that good. it is one of the ones i got from the B&M. but, as you know, juice can taste different in different setups.
the coils are the ones of the last remaining from Advanced, i got em cause, well, wth, lol. i usually use N80 wire. the 4mm size, i set it low as possible cause i thought it may not fit, the top of the coil is kinda high over the posts. the bottom iād say about 1mm off deck.
so, i am getting some flavor now, but its not good. i will keep trying it.
i really do hope they release the RTA for this. iām in for 1 of each color.
oh. yeah, no juice comes out. i tried dumping it, nothing.

They are releasing an RTA for it? Do you mean the tank that is in this pic?
I want that too but thought it uses either the Pro pre-built coils or the Pro RBA deck we are talking about?

I did the same thing and also found the flavor is even better. Although I used the coil the rba deck came with cause I donāt have a hex coil and it was still better with more cotton hang than how Mike Vapes did it.
