I just can’t seem to do it, at least not for myself. My wife vapes misty all the time, all of my customers vape mostly 1-3 recipes almost exclusively. How do they do it?
There always seems a next recipe to try and a next concentrate to buy. Got enough recipes tried that i find enjoyable enough to vape that if i had to i could live on but yet here i am adding new flavors to the cart along with restocking. Guess i qualify for ELRA (e-Liquid Recipes Anonymous)
Ahh life would be so much cheaper without an addiction, at least i got enough customers to support my indulgences

I do have a very small handful of recipes that I make on a regular basis, but I’m with you. I can’t stop making new things. There are plenty of recipes that I’ve either come up with or gotten from others that were wonderful but I’ve only made once or twice. Its fun to constantly try new things! I think on average I vape at least 5-6 different things in a day, but usually only 1 or 2 of those are things that I’ve made before.

I’m the same… I feel it’s good to chop and change, I never stick to one recipe it gets boring after a day of vaping so I crave new flavours and different mixes. My girlfriend smokes cool mint religiously and I can’t get why when we have like 30+ concentrates at our disposal. I will say though the one mix I keep going back to is my green slush recipe, that my friends is extraordinary… I can vape that all week but still need a few tank fills of other mixes.

I think we are all in the same pool. I have a couple favorites but I end up mixing a few a week just because they look good. And they usually are. There are a lot of exceptional mixers on this website and I always see something new.

i also get flavor bored too quickly - needed to find a mid-way solution.
so i started mixing relatively larger bottles (100-120ml) of each of my favorite bases: Vanilla Ice Cream base, Custard Base, Yogurt Base (and yeah, couple of unique ADVs too like Grape/Anise)
- then if i’m in the mode for an Ice Cream vape, i take 30ml of the Ice Cream base, add whatever fruit “dressing” to it (many choices here, BB, SB, Mango, Orange, nuts, cappuccino … etc) - shake, give it few hours to settle then vape.
repeat the process for custards and yogurts…
on the side, there’s the usual mixing sessions to try new things… at least this way i always have “almost” ready to vape mixes - with the wide variety of “dressings” - and still enjoy mixing - i’m happy with the bases i had so no need to fiddle with their ratios any more. took me a while to settle on them, but i think we can all get there with time.
Also my experience so far (we had other threads on that), is that when the “cream base” steeps alone then add top notes later, the results are more flavorful (for me)

Evening @Duchesst sorry it’s a bit late, I’ve been busy since finishing work. Anyway here’s my Green Slush recipe.

I feel the same way. I hear about people’s “ADV”, but have yet to find one that I would want to become exclusive with.
I usually have around 35 testers going at any given time. I’ll vape one just to see what my “Creation” turned into, but even though a few become extremely popular in the shops, I personally can’t settle. I have to try something new.
Rarely do I go back to a creation for a second time, after I’ve finished working it to its full potential.
Glad to know I’m not standing alone.
