McAdams flavour concentrates?

Hi guys.
Iv not been vaping for very long, but have been drawn to mixing my own juice due to cost. I’ve just bought a small mix kit, 1ltr pg/vg and 5 30ml flavour concentrates, which are branded McAdams has anyone here used these before and how do you rate them for quality and taste.
Thanks for reading, i look forward to your replies.

They are listed on the recipe side but it doesn’t look like a lot of people have them and I doubt you’ll find a lot of notes or percentages used in them :slightly_frowning_face:

I’ve never heard of McAdams, but then again I don’t recall what I ate for breakfast either.
Just my opinion but I would advise not buying the ‘kits’. Yeah they’re ok for beginners I guess, test the waters and all that. But after that you want to look at the more recognized, industry standard manufacturers like Capella, Flavorah, Flavour Art, The Perfumers Apprentice etc.
Find some recipes you want to try, get the concentrates needed and add your bases (PG, VG, nic). At the component level you’ll probably save money in the long run vs buying another kit.
BTW…welcome to the ELR forums!

Thank you for the advice and warm welcome guys. I think your right about the flavours and will order some better concentrates. pg/vg included in the kit I bought seems good quality I bought a 250ml bottle of vg from a totally wicked shop near me, and the kit bottles look and smell the same and are just as thick/viscous. Which sites are you getting your concentrates from or can you recommend best site to buy from.

Thanks again. I am in the uk. Just looked at chefs flavours website, I don’t know if they have a shop I can visit but they are only 10 miles from where I live.

Just ran across one of these while doing cleanup in the flavor database.

While trying to verify flavors, I found out (google fu) that this place doesn’t even have a retail front (or at least, currently).

They only sell on eBay from what I could find:
https://www.ebay.com/str/mcadamsconf

Which states:
MCADAMS ARE A FAMILY RUN UK BASED CONFECTIONERY WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN PRODUCING THE HIGH QUALITY SUGER CONFECTIONERY

The following details are currently PUBLICLY POSTED on eBay should anyone wish to inquire further:

An example of a current listing here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/HIGHLY-CONCENTRATED-LIQUID-FOOD-FLAVOURING-30-FLAVOURS-10ML/161898850111

And while their listing boasts “30 flavours”… They currently only have 11 in stock.

The whole thing is a “mom and pop” show.
Not necesarily a bad thing. But IMO it’s always an indicator to be on “alert”.

I could be totally wrong here, but it looks like they’re on the decline, and Lord only knows what they’re doing (rebranding, making their own, etc)

Personally, if I was asked, I’d say exercise caution for anyone else who happens to run across them!
