I was messing with pod recipes and not having success. I have found that just increasing the flavoring in some of my favorite mixes by 30% has done the trick for the most part. You might need to make some subtle changes and it doesnāt work on all recipes, mostly fruit recipes. My Lava Flow clone came out great but I also added 1% steviaclear from NR which had been discontinued. It went from 8.3% for a normal vape to 10.79% total flavoring + the 1% stevia addition. You can taste the coconut and pineapple and it is 60% VG for a pod system and 15mg salt nic is the highest I will go, vape 10mg salt myself in a pod.
I have tried some of these 20% + flavoring pod recipes and think they are horrible and way to over flavored. Pods are not all created equal as well, some mute flavor so much it doesnāt matter what you mix in it, you will hardly taste anything anyway. Others are pretty damn good, pods have come a long way for sure.
@DarthVaporās recipes do work rather well with pods, which seem to behave somewhat like the old pen vaporisers, I find. They are usually to high in concentrates for my tanks as much as I enjoy the profiles.
Pod Recipes?? Keep them simple , eliminate layering creams , cooling and sweetness help ill post a fruity pebbles recipe for a Pod
I used the FW with the Cap here bc the FW has sharper notes than the Cap but usually i would use that combo at 4 and 2 or lower and the berry crunch at half this pct at leastā¦i elimanate all cream aspects bc the dont come through imeā¦I do like to use more pronounced flavors like Pink Guava ā¦I dont think you need to be up in the 30pct range . 2 flavor bangers is the term used in vaping and that term is great for pods then add favorite sweetnerā¦@Michelle Hughes started a thread about additives that use to be used back in 2015/16 and that makea me want to try and see if they will help a pod recipe
I have found that two contrasting flavors that pair well work great in Pods so say Choco and Mint
Nic Salt is smoother than freebase and goes to the bllod stream faster than Freebaseā¦I use Nic Salt bc that what others used b4 meā¦If your going to stay in the 24mg and under range i think freebase shld be fineā¦But lets ask @woftam what he thinks
If Iām mixing with nic salts I have to use it at 40/50mg so lately I figured that regular free base at 20/25 suffice to my tastes. Now I wonder If I have to increase my nic if vaping MTL cos itās been so long since I last did.
Iām getting the Smok Nord Kit freebie in the post so pods are all new to me i vape with a box mod normally. 20/25? Donāt mean to sound thick but if i donāt ask ill never know
Normal nic should be fine. My pod experience is currently 0 and and I havenāt used Freebase nic for nearly 4 years so I really donāt have much of a torch to shine for you sorry.
Thatās ok thank you for taking the time out. Iām unsure about nic salt where i buy my nicotine at nic hub they sell it but donāt know much about it
Now there I can help you with salts in general. Nichub gets their Nic from Chemnovatic which have very good nic
They stock both the Nicotine Salicylate (S) and Nicotine Benzoate (B).
Nicotine Salicylate is smoother than with a slightly higher ph generally around 4.6 - 4.8 there is no TH at all with S and is my preferred Nic salt.
Nicotine Benzoate has PH a little closer to neutral generally around 6.5 and will still be smooth but will provide a small TH if that is what you are after.
They are both pretty transparent flavour wise and both will not oxidise as fast as freebase. Salts can have a slight brown tint to them and a bit of a musty smell this is normal even tho it appears that they may be oxidised.
Thank you once my 300mls of normal nic is done i may pick up nic salt here in the uk i buy 72mg nic when i mix a 30ml bottle of juice to make it 3mg i put 1.30g of nic in Does it work the same? With nic salts sorry to be a pain.
Yup you can use it exactly the same as freebase if you are going to use salts at high wattage I would suggest going with Nicotine Salicylate there have been questions raised about Benzene being produced from Nicotine Benzoate (not that I can find a definitive answer or a study that I completely understand). I err on the side of caution
