Mixing help!

I received TPA butterscotch and vanilla custard and a glazed doughnut capella flavouring, I tried to do a doughnut and custard flavour of 20% custard and 10% doughnut and all I’m getting is a chemical play dough taste… any help would be appreciated and also butterscotch, AND flavour art apple pie, I tried 3% too 20% and can’t get anything decent, thanks Nathan

You need to let it steep for a few weeks, especially custard. 20% custard is a lot of custard and might be very sickening after a couple of weeks. The average mixing quantity is around 4%.

Might want to try each separately and find if you like each’s taste? TPA butterscotch in my book is a mixer only.
