ML or Grams?

I mix my juices by weight, but because of the specific gravity of PG and VG, I never get the correct ml’s that the recipe says I should have. I know what’s happening, but want to pose the question to the experts: Do you adjust for the specific gravity of PG and especially VG? For example when making 30 ml of juice, do you go by 1 gram = 1 ml and add 16.5 ml of VG, or do you adjust and add 20.81 grams of VG?

ELR does that for you! PG is 1.04 g/ml and VG is 1.26 g/ml

Thanks daath, but what I’m wondering is when mixing a recipe that was created on ELR, do you use the ML column or the Grams column?

Personally I just use the grams column.

I look at the percents…chances are I’m going to be making a totally different mix as far as amount, nic, pg/vg, etc. so that will all change when the recipe is adapted. In general, I use grams, too. I recently made the switch from manufacturers to 1 g = 1 ml for flavors. That could be where your slight variation is coming from if you’re following everything else to the letter.
