I’m here with my dad now and I let him try my iCare mini and he really likes it. He just needs the menthol taste to make it work for him. @Maureeenie yes the regular iCare will run through the battery before the end of the day… for me its only good for a couple of hours of Light vaping lol but the iCare mini come with a 2300mah PCC which extends the 320mah batter life of the mini a lot longer… so that’s why I picked the mini to use for my stealth vape lol. Dad likes the feel of the mini even in the PCC so I think he is sold on it. That Southern Freeze recipe that you posted looks like something I would like to try but I have none of those many many flavors lol. That is also too much for my dad at the moment but something I would definatly like to try so thanks a lot for sharing that with me!! Maybe after my dad gets a little time back in the vape life I can slowly introduce him to other flavors. He swears that all he wants right now is just menthol. nothing complicated he just has to taste menthol. I am thinking of using just menthol with maybe a little koolada and a touch of sweetness for him to start. keep the feed back coming!!! I tried just menthol flavoring at first for my brother’s girl friend but after a while she told me it needed more nicotine. After asking her more about why she thought that (she wasn’t a heavy smoker and I started her at 3mg) I came to realize what she thought of as nicotine was the tobacco flavor. She vapes a lot more than she used to smoke but she doesn’t smoke so it’s a win as far as I am concerned.
I think your on the right track with 18-24mg nic, with that he will get a nic buzz better than a cig when he vapes.
Go on and buy commercial juice if he wants to go sample something, if you have a vape shop that does that.

I just gots some pg off them and as an xmas gift they sent me a 10ml sample of their newport menthol - wont get the chance to mix it until after xmas and since I have never smoked np I dont know how true the flavour will be to the original.

So I got vape mail on Friday the 23rd. It contained Flavor west menthol and some Koolada… I am ready to mix a batch up for my dad and I am trying to figure out this Koolada thing… I have never used it myself and I got a 30ml bottle lol… can you tell me more about it? I am thinking of making a small menthol batch with koolada and without to see if I can tell the difference… are these ok to shake and vape? I am just thinking of making a couple 5ml batches using my regular base (no pg and at 3mg) to just try it out… then I will mix my dad a batch at around 18 - 24mg… I got his iCare mini in the mail Christmas eve he is excited to get it and start on the journey of vaping again

I expect your dad will want some tobacco flavor as well based on my experience mixing for someone that used to smoke kool and newports but a few testers with and without koolada + with/without tobacco should let you and him know what is best for his needs
Smoking Newports, man that brought back some bad memories. When I did smoke, and was out of cigarettes and needed a smoke, if the only person on the Earth that had smokes was smoking Newports, I would walk right on by. Man those were some nasty tasting smokes! The ones who smoked Newports, theirs packs lasted them a lot longer cause nobody would bum smokes from them.
Lol not where I grew up… If you had a pack of. Newport you would try to hide that fact… To the point where I would take my smokes out of the pack and sick them inside a box of viginia slims or even Marlboro lol (i grew up in inner city Chicago)
So for anyone who wants to celebrate with me… I got my dad set up on newyears eve. He wasn’t home that night when we made it to Chicago but came home the next morning which was new years eve. I put the Icare mini in his hand along with 260ml of juice I made for him… simple recipe 6%menthol 1% koolada at 20mg 40/60… I went over how to use it and he had smoked a ci right before he got home. for the rest of the day no cigs just the ecig. The next (new years day) he did smoke a couple of cigs. I talked to him today and am happy to report that he has not had Any stinkys in 10 days!!! I’m so proud of him and he says he doesn’t even crave an actual cig anymore… woo hoo!!! we have another convert! Thank you everyone who contributed to this thread and gave me advice to get him started I really appreciate it!!
