Just a quick one my friend has a little voopoo vinci and i have given him some of my juice to try and he has come back to me and said he can not really taste anything
my vape is a sub ohm sakerz master tank and the flavour is out of this world tasty…
does he need to change his vape device or shall i alter the vg/pg when i make him a mix up
Currently running 70vg 30pg at the minute

Well there’s a few different Vinci devices, some have the pnp coils which should give good flavor compared to a sub ohm, they also have some Vinci pod devices that may require bumping up the flavor but that’s a little tricky as you generally can’t just increase the total flavor percentage and get the same results in a pod
I generally mix 60/40 for pod users but the pnp coils can definitely handle 70/30

Higher ohms require you to bump flavor percentages. For example if you mix a flavor at 3% for your gear you’ll need to bump that up to 5-7% for the gear your friend is using. Flavor % is the actual problem in this situation.
That looks like the OG Vinci pod I had two. Even after trying that mod with different coils and airflow settings the flavor wasn’t very good with those. It was very airy with most of my 9% juices. You definitely need high % juice as the pods are very airy. It did work ok with commercial juices, those that tend to be higher flavor %.
All makes sense then and I called him crazy from having 20mg shop juice ewwww no thanks

Yep there ya go. He’s probably running the .15 or .20 Pnp coils with 20mg juice which means it’s most likely highly concentrated probably around 15-20%. I had to use the Vinci in mtl airflow position with .20 coils to get anything from it.
you just cant beat a cloud beast tank for flavour and vapour thats why i love the sakerz master tank with the bubble glass on it 
coils in that last me two weeks and only like 10 dollars for 3 coils
I had one of those devices a few years back, and they are terrible. Also, was the juice that you gave him strawberry by chance? Because when I started DIY, I discovered that some people cannot taste many of the strawberry flavors.
Yes I told him it is the wrong device for the juice I am making for my sub ohm tanks he might get a better tank and device in the future we will see
