Did you get any advice on what I’m doing wrong? Everyone says that the optimal amount of aromas is about 15%, I made a liquid where the total amount was 14%, it had no taste at all. I tested it every 3 days and after 1.5 weeks it still had no taste, but when I did the same recipe only I gave everything 2 times more it was only to feel anything. How is it that for others 13% is enough and it is very sweet and for me it must be about 30%? Vapes on the pod 0.6 0.8ohm 20W. And this is the recipe:
Hi @Dominikdndg. Welcome to the forum.
In my device “Geek Vape T200” your recipe at 13% would have flavor for days. Pods are different.
Hold up for one of the pod peeps to see this. You’ll be poonted in the right direction. ![]()
First it depends on the person some can detect the flavor of fruits better than others. I personally find that fruits need to used higher in order to get good saturation (flavor) from them. Secondly you are using a more restricted coil @0.60 -0.80 ohms requiring the flavor to be more saturated to obtain better flavor. I’m currently vaping on a 0.60 coil @25w with FJ Key Lime Pie one shot mixed @25% for good saturation. The suggested mixing % is a lot lower but being a fruity flavor I need it to be mixed higher for the flavor to pop. My ADV being a creamy coffee flavor is mixed @9% and is really saturated with the same 0.60 coil. The beauty of DIY is you can mix your recipes at whatever % works best for you, not what everyone else suggests. Lastly try lowering the WS23 as well as the Cotton candy (ethyl maltol) to .5 - 1.0% as both can cause your fruits to seem muted when used at higher %.
you might have some muting going on with those flavors your using, try this recipe, lots of people love it in pod systems, add more super sweet and cooling if you wish
So test each new liquid from, for example, 10% upwards until I find the only point? And the fact that, for example, all flavors have a very similar concentration, i.e. 3 fruits instead of 0.3; 0.2; 0.2 try something 0.5; 0.15, 0.05?
