As far as flavor percentages that also comes down to using a mouth to lung tank or sub ohm since you’re worried about coils I’m guessing you don’t build. Most of the 5 star rated recipes on ELR from 2015 2016 etc were made for mouth to lung tanks so maybe start there :star_struck:

im building of course! I had another problem as i was creating eliquids with very thick vg without knowing that i can dilute it with water for injection and my coils were holding 3 days maximum before rewicking. Now i solved this problem by diluting it.

How do you do that if I may ask?

i am buying vg from an online pharmacy. Its very thick and i buy also water for injection small bottles of 10 ml. I add 90ml of vg and 10 ml of water for injection and vg becomes the same consistency as pg!

Yeah I’m leaving this for someone who understands. I’ve seen messages about this on reedit and vaping underground but this is WAY out of my wheelhouse.

Don’t be like me and try to vape cola. Stupid! It was a dripper or it would have simply leaked out of the tank. But it was terrible! Ah, dumb me.

A lot of commercial juices use more Additives than DIY does such as Sweeteners , Malic , etc they also push the flavors as high as possible…IMO the amount of sweetness is what you are comparing , and sucraose will make things stand out , give more mouthfeel etc

Agreed. I’ve had more than a few pro-mixers tell me that if they aren’t mixing above 15% they are cheating their customers.

@AzakandarGR Please note that if you’re using FlavourArt, Flavorah, Medecin Flower, Wonder Flavors and some other highly concentrated flavors, you do not want to be mixing at 15% or higher. It might be the case for juices made with TFA, CAP, FW, LA and some others that are more diluted.
Generalizations are not very useful, this is why so many here are saying you should do your single flavor tests to find out what works for you. Even within a single company there are stronger and weaker concentrates so nobody can come up with a specific % to mix at.
And that’s not even taking your personal vaping equipment in consideration…

If you don’t feel like doing SFT, try to look at the flavor pages and look at the median use of flavors and look at other recipes to see how people use a flavor… but don’t be surprised if something you mix won’t work for you. It’ll be more trial and error that way but if you mix enough, you’ll end up with some good juice too.

thank you for your information! its hard to find specific flavours here! capela and tfa are my main liquids. i m thinking of trying ken o wheres strawnana. hope it works for me but i found vaping custard for days makes me feel sick.

@anon28032772 is right on the spot… SFT Rules!

@AzakandarGR , you might want to stick to simple mixes… fruits… or nuts… or just a fruit and a cream instead of custards… think on your favorite sodas and drinks too… I hope you find something soon for you to enjoy… I still after 10+ yrs do not have an all day vape. I change mine out when ever… normally I have 4-6 different juices near me all day…

If you enter all you flavors in yiur stash and make that public we can look at what flavors you have and see how we can steer you in the right direction …
