Need new set up

I have narrowed the tanks down to the crown, and the smoktfv4.
The mod is still open but looking at the segeli 75tc, the smy 60w mini, and the cloupor gt.
I have also been thinking about going for the gusto and just getting the segeli 150 tc.
That would require that I wait a month or two though. I have yet to see a need for temperature control, and really don’t do those exotic builds.
Any advice?

The TFV4 and those single battery mods isn’t a very good setup. You may get something from the tank but it will be straining your battery. If you go with a single battery mod get all the watts you can and keep an extra battery with at all times. Medium to heavy vaping require 2 or 3 battery changes per day on a single battery mod.

I just re read my original post. It should read smok or crown. Trying to decide between the two. I just put a vote from you for waiting and getting the segeli 150. I think the cloupor takes two batteries.

I have a cloupor GT 80 …it’s good and works as it should and is quite cheap ! Ive seen it for as little as 38 bucks and is well worth that.

I also have a smy 50 TC and it’s pure junk …I know you said the 60 mini but if the 50 is any indication of quality then stay clear of it .

I’m not sure if the 60w mini is any different. What don’t you like about the 50? I just realized the cloupor does not work with titanium, and neither does the segeli 150w tc. I know I don’t want to use nickel. I would never need 150w for kanthal. Decisions…Decisions. how about those two tanks which would you choose?

You can’t go wrong with either. The one main difference is the price of stock coils. The TFV4 will cost you more to own. If you go with the RBA decks the the field is balanced again. If you want the dual RBA then its TFV4 all the way. The TFV4 would be my choice anyway.

Honestly , the ipv4s is probably your cheapest and best option 120 watts , decent battery life , upgradeable chip that supports TI .if you want more power the ipv3 li is a good option . Also check out the Ijoy Asolo 200 watt , they claim to prevent dry hits with any type of wire ( taste control they call it ) . Not a lot of info on it but might be worth looking at . Pbusardo was skeptical of it but some other Pro reviewers are being pretty positive about it .

The smy 50 just flat out doesn’t work properly for temp control . I does work but not properly and only supports nickel which I hate . If you were just using it for a regulated vw mod then it’s fine but there are still better and cheaper options out there for a 50 watt device .

Purchasing the 4s, or ipv li seems backwards. There are newer devices out there that are smaller, but the features are less on these devices. The Segeli 150 tc would be a no brain purchase if it worked with titanium. I have heard you really need to be above 75w to make the smok tank worth it. The crown will most likely be my choice based on that fact alone. The rba base is what I will be using with either tank so that changes the equation again. I really like being able to slip my mod into my pocket, so most dual battery mods don’t appeal to me.

Any single 18650 tc mod I own eats batts like crazy so you are slipping a battery case in your pockets with it anyhow.

Also the cloupor reads titanium you just have to dial the temp down like 200 Degrees f
