How is the RF SC honey? Clean? Perfume? Flowers? Honey flavors scare me lol

Itā€™s a pretty good honey flavor. I decided to try it low because itā€™s one flavor I didnā€™t mix up solo. I have about 10 that I have not mixed up solo. Iā€™ve been trying to test a bunch of theyā€™re flavors here lately. Itā€™s on my list of solos to mix up tomorrow when I get off work.

looks like I need some more RF SC flavorsā€¦

Have you tried the red hot cinnamon solo yet? I have a OSDIY Cinnamon Smoothie tester I mixed up some time ago (21Sept lol) that I just can not bring myself to finish off because it was too spicy. I need to give it another try and see if the spice mellowed any with age but I suppose I could sub that for the red hot cinnamon when I get some honey from RF, just not sure what I could use as a sub for that CAP cerealā€¦ maybe some sugar cookie and rice krispy treatā€¦

I personally prefer Cookie FA. I couldnā€™t figure out Biscuit INW.

What Iā€™ve learned about making this recipe was that the FLV SB Filling really needs something to sink itā€™s teeth into something so itā€™s bold flavor wonā€™t push it over. So I choose some strong creams and it worked well. Just 1 drop of the FLV SB Filling was enough for my needs. I also find that SB FLV has a similar note in it to the SB Filling but itā€™s a more candier flavor has a sweet creaminess behind the SB and I seem to only be able to use it in bakeries as it dominates other fruits instantly.

I really like the cream cheese Vg based RF so once I finish it Iā€™ll pick up the SC. However I am a fan of this low fat sweet treat IRL so of course I made it into a vapeā€¦why not.

Never shared any of my recipes (due to bad quality ) but I have been working on two Iā€™m almost happy with and Iā€™d appreciate any input to improve them!

One is green tea with cactus fruit. Maybe an odd combination, but thereā€™s a drink in Germany thatā€™s cactus and tea and I love that stuff.

Zen : http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1029389/Zen

2% Cactus (INAWERA)
8% Green Tea (TPA)
1% Marshmallow (TPA)

I reckon @Rupert could have some input on the cactus in this recipe? Iā€™m undecided whether itā€™s too bold.

And the other one is Apricot brandy with marzipan. Kinda odd, tooā€¦ but I like it.

House of Lords 1.01 : http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1098377/House%20of%20Lords%201.01

5% Armenia (Apricot) (FA)
4% Brandy (TPA)
1% Juicy Peach (CAP)
1.5% Marzipan - German Flavors

GF Marzipan can be subbed with INW Marzipan or FA Marzipan, I guess.

The combination of making up a larger batch of my chocolate bombilini recipe (really nice, kills the coils though) along with FA Zeppola being purchased has reignited my doughnut mixing efforts again. Couple of concentrates lots of people probably dont have especially in the US. Solub Arome doughnut has long been my favourite doughnut concentrate even though it was still missing something, the zeppola with it seems to on first tastes be completing it as I like.
Kandi Hed is a range from justvape247 and most of there concentrates I have found weak and average to awful (croissant is probably worst thing I have ever tasted) but the cornish cream cakes is possibly my favourite cream concentrate flavouring now. You can probably sub that with bavarian cream or chefs choice devon cream at half the ratio for a similar effect, the solub arome is irreplacable though. Very creamy and sweet custard doughnut, heavy on the custard but the doughnut is prominent on the exhale.

A lot of people donā€™t like cactus at higher percentages, but I am not one of them. 2% is great for me to actually have the cactus come through as a flavour layer.

8% Green Tea seems high for me though. I find it tends to dry out the vape. Have you found this?

I would drop the tea to around 5%, keep the cactus at 2%, and leave the marshmallow at 1%. Perhaps even add a touch of FA Jasmine at 0.5% to add another layer and some more sweetness

Thanks for your answer
In one of the earlier versions I had the tea at 5% and cactus at 3%, in another at 6%/2% respectively. In both these versions I couldnā€™t taste the green tea behind the cactus. I found at 8%/2% I can taste the tea as a baseline with a prominent cactus in the foreground.
Have you tried 5 and 2 % respectively before? If so, what were your observations?

About the dryness: In this mix, the cactusā€™ juiciness all but eliminates the teaā€™s dryness :sunglasses: at least to me, hahaā€¦

Hi Mate  No, I havenā€™t tried it, my comment was based solely on having used the tea concentrate in other mixes. Ill give it a go later and see how it works out. Makes sense about the cactus counteracting the dryness of the tea.
