New to dyi attempting to recreate a copy of black cherry from geek bar

i just got in to dyi due to my state keeps jacking up the tax a year ago i was paying 26$ a disposable every 2 weeks. come to now i got to fork up 50$ for a disposable… that’s to steep at that point i might as well just go back to smoking cigs and chewing tobacco… so here i am trying dyi. i got a oxva xlim pro2 dnA and a bottle of salt nic e-liquid holy cow pre made e-liquid sucks the flavoring is so light and no sweetener. but unfortunately my throat dislikes most flavors as it make it to harsh i have a hand full that i can do and black cherry from geek bar is one of them but it taste unlike most black cherry’s and i honestly cant figure it out. has anyone tried to recreate it?

So many good cherries todsy compared to years back. SSA has a handful of good cherries , WF has Black Cherry Jelly Bean flavor . Your going to have tk figure out where what flavor works for you then add enough supporting flavor to round it out . Then the Sweet and Ice fsctor will be test. Good Luck ive tasted a few disposables and the flavor is too sweet for me .

It’s so hard to get the type of flavor that you’d get from a disposable. I’ve been working on one like Strawberry super strudel by fifty bar…no cooling but the sweetness, I just can’t get it.

Ssa ripe cherry with INW cherries (not cherry) is a decent cherry. Ssa has at least 3 good cherry flavors you might want to play around with! Good luck and WELCOME!

Look up howard Hughes pop tarts, these were kind of solved back in 2018, and referenced by @sessiondrummer

The sweetener is probably …sweetener. :smile:

Thanks! I’ve not seen that recipe- this is mine- I don’t think the cap shisha sb is doing justice…I need to play around with it. It’s good, just not where I want it.

most disposables are but black cherry is a black cherry geekbar has a ice hint that doesn’t taste like menthol so ether the ice is masking the sweetener or black cherry doesn’t have much sweetener fruit monster black cherry has 100 times more sweetener then geek bar in my opinion i cant even finish off 2 ml of it in my pod with out my teeth feeling like im dipping them in sugar

I wouldn’t make this at 50/50, 70/30 maybe, I can put this into a recipe posting for you.
