NicBase Premixed Liquid

Hi everyone first timer here and thanks in advance for the help! This is going to be very silly but I feel absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of info out there.

I am attempting to get into DIY and stumbled across NicBase’s “25mg/ml Unflavored NicSalt Pre-Mixed Nicotine Salt Liquid” . The description indicates it needs to be diluted and I am unsure what that really means.

I am coming from old bottles of 2.5% 50/50 liquids for my pod system and want to recreate such nic salts. Would I only need to buy this pre-mix and add flavorings to it to create a usable e-liquid?

Welcome to ELR @Skyate02. It looks like Delosi is only offering their Salts, in pre-mixed, or 50v/50p mixes. The 25mg will work, BUT, because it is of a lower strength, the amount of it you’ll have to put in each mix will be quite a bit, it may be hard to work with, if you are using higher amounts of flavor. The easiest way to do it, would be to get the 100mg 50v/50p Salt NIC. That way, you’ll use FAR LESS of it in each bottle because it’s stronger, and even with higher flavor mixes, you won’t have any issues.

Welcome to ELR @Skyate02

@SessionDrummer is correct, you will definitely need 100mg Nic Base

If you are vaping 2.5% nic, (that’s 25mg/ml) you will not be able to add any flavors to the 25mg base without reducing the nic amount

Ahhh that definitely makes sense thank you all for the clarification! @SessionDrummer @Rocky02852

This may be the wrong place to ask but would someone be able to link me a random recipe using this 100mg/ml premix to achieve the desired 2.5% final product? I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the recipe creator/calculator.

Thank you again!!

@Skyate02 there are numerous “Using the ELR Calculator” here, but here’s two screenshot guides for you.

Great Breakdown…Love the notes on the side

Yeah great edit putting in all the side notes!
But not to confuse the OP, a 2.5% Pod Mix would be 25MG Desired strength (vs 2.5MG subohm mix)

Thank you @fidalgo_vapes, and @Rocky02852

@Rocky02852 wasn’t she trying to hit 2.5% for the final ?? Thought she was contemplating buying 25mg base unless I read it wrong.

2.5% Commercial pod juice is 25mg.
If it was 2.5mg I don’t think nic salt would even be needed, freebase nic would be fine…

Ahhh shit, I thought she wanted to HIT 2.5. I gotta redo it anyway because I didn’t 50/50 it as well. #Redo

Yeah a lot of commercial pod juice is using % now vs mg, probably cause it looks better than the big numbers…

Yeah. LOL, because I’m so DTL, I just went with the 2.5%…

LOL, actually you went with 0.25% concentration…

Hello all! WOW thank you for the amazing resources, screenshots and recipes. These certainly help me better understand how to use the calculator. @fidalgo_vapes @Rocky02852

For clarification, yes I am referencing a commercial pod juice (Pod Monster specifically) which states on the packaging 2.5% nicotine or 25mg/ML salt nicotine.

@Skyate02 I’ve changed the screenshots to reflect 25mg NIC.
