I am wondering why this site is only allowing for nicotine in the recipe making. I am currently using Anti Venom and have used herbal teas. I find that I can help my inflammation with the teas so I tried the Anti Venom. A side from being a bit stronger then the nicotine I can see no real difference except in the health benefits. I think I like the idea of using substitutes for nicotine because honestly I really do not want to get the big C and I really do not want to give up vaping.
Are you referring to cancer from vaping nicotine or from cigs?
Yes I am always worried about health all the time since I am a health nut but like all things I have vices to and vaping is mine. So I do all the natural things I can, many people I know have died but they smoked so I am hoping vaping will be better and it really does help with my inflammation problems. IE: I have week ankles
I say vape however you feel best about it. From my understanding, nicotine is not a cancer risk. But it’s best that you are happy with whatever you choose to vape.
Thank you I really like the teas, and the new stuff is good too. So for me it works.
Exactly how does you mix with teas as a replacement for nic…? I’m just curious.
I havnt read all the posts on the website, but so far I havnt seen anything that says you have to use nic. You can make your recipies without it. But for me the nic replaces the cigarette at 3mg…and has helped me to have the infamous nic fit.i have gotten every time while trying to quit.
As for other substances I havnt seen posts yet, but I’m not looking for them either…but I have seen brick and motor shops mixing in b12 and caffeine…and s few others. This might be something I will play with in the future, but for now I am still learning.
I think, for the still learning aspect, many of us are in the still learning stage…or trying to up our game. Beyond that the veterans graciously answer our crazy questions and point out resources to help make our diy experience better. All of which I am very much appreciate.
Sorry for the grammar and typos. Doing this on my cell is difficult…and “sometimes words are hard”
I steep them I followed the directions from a forum in the UK. Like you would if you were making say an organic extract. But without the alcohol.
I would have posted that also in the recipes but it does not see to work with the program.
You could type in your process in the notes section of a recipe. So you use a tea extraction for your nic replacement? You should start a thread on your process. There are others here that make tea extractions.
Ok thank you, I make it similar but I am an naturalist so I buy my herbs bulk for the health benefits and then make an extract and mix a flavor I like so for me I can either drink the extract or add flavor and vape depending on my mood.
If you really like nicotine you would like the Anti Venom a nicotine alternative. It has some health benefit studies I found interesting and it is strong like nicotine. The teas I make are not as strong but I am new to it so if I keep playing with the recipes and process I might be able to get it stronger.
Sounds very interesting. There are all types here and they will be interested to see your ingredients and your process.
Ingredients should be based on needs not just taste so if you have a health issue I could certainly help people pick which herbs to extract it would be a way to help the issue they may have.
I sometimes deal with very low energy from lack of sleep. I also have back issues and I can’t take pain medication… any suggestions? I do take vitamin supplements, but I still have low energy issues.
Are you using PG for the tea extraction? We have little details but it does sound as though you are creating a flavor, whether it is PG or VG based. If this is the case you should not have problems creating recipes with your tea flavor extract. Desired nic would have to be set at 0 and your extract used as a flavor and be set as VG, PG, or Other based…
I’ve never done a tea extraction, but I have seen the process. I just don’t which tea does what… as far as health benefits.
Yes and you can use VG as well but yes like making a flavor. The only difference is you are extracting nutrients from herbs rather then flavors and you can add flavors to the nutrient base your extract like you would a regular vapor.
Ok I see thank you.
I like meadow sweet for back pain and valerian for sleep issues but I am guessing your lack of sleep may have something to do with back pain. I use many things for pain but for beginners I would use meadow sweet.
A quick google. Is this the herb?
