Nicotine River - Updates

Hey my friend, I understand. I actually met with our FedEx representative on Wednesday to proceed with the one rate shipping and how we can further lower the rates we have on the site. We are working on getting these lower and it will take some time, but I do appreciate your honesty and hope to have cheaper alternative options available in the near future.

@Nicotine_River , when I got your 4th of July Sale email I jumped on it as I wanted to order some of your River Supply flavour line after reading some reviews from @SessionDrummer. I place the order and get to shipping costs and this is what Iā€™m offered:

Sorry guys, but I cannot justify paying $79.31 shipping (the cheapest option) on a small (9 flavors) $37.20 order. I realise Australia is a long way away from the States but $80.00 shipping for 9 tiny 15ml bottles? :scream: Can you confirm the only option for international shipping you provide now is FedEx? If so, then I canā€™t see how I can continue ordering from you as it just doesnā€™t make economic sense for me to do so. I understand and respect the business decision is yours and yours alone. No problem, I get it. Just bummed I canā€™t try your concentrates or buy any MF from you. Not to worry, itā€™s not the end of the world :wink:. Cheers guys.

Thank you very much @Dardy. I certainly hope that, that shipping was in error, and @Nicotine_River can help sort out the issue. Iā€™m in the US, and have not had that type of shipping issue, or Iā€™d try to help out.

Hey @Dardy I understand your frustration and I apologize for these high rates.

We recently stopped using USPS for international packages due to the high volume of lost and damaged packages. @Dan_the_Man has mentioned our high rates to us before even for domestic, and since then we have been taking steps towards getting these rates permanently lowered to a more reasonable price. I just met with our FedEx rep last Wednesday regarding how we can further lower these rates. We will be meeting once again in about 2 weeks to start initializing the steps and processes to fix this, once he provides us with more data and recommendations for our company.

We are aware these rates are quite high, but I want to assure you itā€™s in the process of being resolved and is one of our top priorities! I apologize once again.

FedEx are not really well known for their international shipping capabilities and rates.
I would consider speaking to DHL and UPS for their international shipping rates.
Neither FedEx nor TNT were really good in international shipping and after the merger: two bad flavors normally donā€™t make a good one. :wink:

Hey @SteveTC I understand and apologize for the bad shipments. We have been and will continue to make FedEx better when itā€™s used with our company.

As for TNT that was a horrific Shopify bug that was finally resolved. We have actually never used TNT before, but Shopify kept saying it was our carrier. That has been resolved though! :slight_smile:

Hello everyone, this is an update regarding shipping to New York State.

We are still able to ship non-nicotine related products, as we are a supplier of many industries regarding our flavorings, glycerin, glycol, etc. However, anything nicotine related as of today can no longer be shipped to the State of New York. This includes,

Flavorless Nicotine Solutions (Freebase or Salt)
The Vape Kitchen
Cali Bars
Flavorings containing trace amounts of nicotine (those flavorings have a warning in the product description and on the label)

Itā€™s unfortunate news, however we must abide and uphold the State of New Yorkā€™s laws. We are not the only company following this path. We are one of many that have been reached out to regarding this matter. We are not in trouble by any means, this was simply an update given to us by FedEx themselves.
