Hi,
does anyone have the Nitecore NFF01 Magnetic liquid mixer;
That totally sounds like a space ship.
Sorry no experience with magnetic mixers for e liquid but I think they’re a bit of a toy. Just use a bigger bottle to have some room to shake.
Bro… I NEED THIS!!
Are we still bragging about having the Game Changer?
As far as i recollect that specific Magnetic Mixer has gotten the worst reviews ever.
They might have upgraded it since it first came out around 2017 or when it was and its mixing capabilities might have improved since then.
If i were to buy a magnetic mixer with a heat plate there is better options out there for the same money or a little less or more.
Good advice and I would say the same.
Can you tell me some magnetic stirring devices?
Can you tell me some magnetic stirring devices?
Same. Same. Thx!!
Sthrnmixer bought this when it first czm out and I believe he said it wasnt that impressive
Hi guys, I’m very new to the DIY mixing scene and need some guidance and tips… I just bought the Nitecore NFF01 electric mixer and was hoping someone can answer/advise on some questions… Let’s say my recipe needs 2 weeks to steep, how long should it be on my mixer? Should I use heat and if I do what is the recommended temp? Open or closed while on the mixer? Any further advise will be appreciated. Thx in advance
this is my mixer journey . ordered my e-liquid starter kit from liquid barn on April 21, 2017
i started with this. An egg beater from liquid barn and a slow cooker
then i thought its time to step up my game and buy a mixer . and i did look at the nffo1 mixer . and asked people on the forum if anyone used it . and created this thread in Nov '17
[F332A43F-B6CB-4DB2-9DD5-93159BA08A4B] Thinking about getting one, was wondering if anyone hade one?
lots of usefull info in that thread .
Ok, so I got it today. You’ve seen pix of the outside. Here’s ones I took today. [image] Adding a couple magnets to try and get better results… [image] These are the only photos I’ll post. So why did I have it apart? Well because it didn’t work worth a flip. Nothing even approaching the 1200 rpm it claims. So I just had to find out what was causing the resistance. Hmph, never found out. Oh well, I’ll ask for a refund but do…
@SthrnMixer verdict of the nff01 mixer
Fact is, this thing is a cheaply made hunk of junk and I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing it at any price.
This is the first mixer i bought Ordered on December 22, 2017 . fairly inexpensive (still sits on my desk. don’t really use it anymore . but who knows. ) no temp control . had to use candy thermometer to read temp and turn off heat of 10 - 15 degrees before reaching desired temperature . over all it did what i wanted it to do

my next mixer Ordered on November 14, 2018 - had a little extra $$$ and really getting tired of losing that dang candy thermometer. so i bought a mixer with temp probe. sweet
i STILL USE THIS ONE TO THIS DAY

well i always wanted to experiment with Homogenizer’s but god dang they were pricey . and still on my Christmas list . but logged into Amazon one day and saw this one . Ordered on February 6, 2020

Edit : i still use the heated mag mixer to heat the vg to 60 degrees celsius then and vg and flavors then homogenize
