Nut Job (Peanut Butter Cookie)

:cookie: Nut Job — Smooth Peanut Butter Cookie

An elite, heavy-bodied commercial bakery profile. Built from scratch around a rich cookie dough center and stabilized with a heavy, ultra-creamy peanut core layer that completely eliminates throat scratch or dryness.

:test_tube: The Flavor Accord Strategy

  • The Peanut Core: DX Peanut Butter (TPA) combined with Butter Flavor (TPA) builds a thick, rich peanut spread base layer.
  • The Cookie Base: Sugar Cookie (CAP) establishes a soft-baked, sweet flour body, while Cookie (FA) lends a subtle crisp edge for authentic texture.
  • The Polish elements: Sweet Cream (TPA) keeps the inhale exceptionally smooth, Acetyl Pyrazine adds a nutty, toasted bakery crust bridge, and Super Sweet (PUR) provides that final commercial pop.

:stopwatch: Steeping & Bench Notes

  • Target Mix: 70% VG / 30% PG @ 3mg Nicotine Strength.
  • Steep Time: 5 Days. Bakery and savory dessert notes require a full rest period in a dark cabinet to let the heavy volatile compounds blend seamlessly into the sweet dairy finish. Shake aggressively before putting away!

I eat peanut butter almost every single day, but the 2 Aussie TPA vendors don’t do the peanut butter. I am sad.

Believe me I’ve been sad since this was taken away from me…

… I’ve been experimenting to get back to that same profile, and while I’ve managed to get the peanut butter base pretty close, I’m still struggling to nail the perfect jelly note to round it out.

Maybe it needs some diacetyl :smirk:

Tpa PB dx or the regular are great PBs , if yoi ever get that chance grab some from SSA as well

I’ve tried most of them, I lean more towards a Peanut Butter (DX) (TPA) & Peanut Butter (TPA) & Butter (TPA) mix, hits my pallet just right. SSA is the only one i havent tried.

The PB base from the “pb cereal” recipe charlie released years ago might be a good place to start? Just with whatever flavour the “jelly” is? I see some people using grape in their clone/remix recipes, others use strawberries, some use both but i think i would probably start with the pb base from that cereal recipe though? -
PB cereal - charlue noble.
8.5% peanut butter TFA
5.5% sugar cookie CAP
3.5% vanilla custard v2 CAP
1.5% malted milk TFA
0.5% bavarian cream FW
0.5% cotton candy/em FW
0.2% saline solution (10% iirc?)
0.2% acetyl pyrazine TFA

I would probably swap the peanut butter for the DX version & lower the %'s of everything a bit though, see where it stands from there, then add in whatever strawberry &/or grape you want?

I didnt know they had a PB cereal?

You mean Mustache Milk by Charlie’s Chalk Dust?

I did like that one, but it was not a ADV, had to much cinnamon it always seemed to take over your coils and then dominate the flavor of everything else.

Or was this a different Charlies?

It was grape, purple or red and sweet.

What is this used for?

I use vanilla swirl because I feel it blends better with peanut butter out of all the creams or vanillas i have tried.

Im not entirely sure what it actually does because i have never tested it side by side with the same recipes (1 with/1 without), i have tried finished eliquids with it in but what it does compared to the same recipe without it i have no idea? I imagine it would give a similar result to adding a pinch of salt into your rice while it boils vs boiling rice in plain water?

DIYorDIE’s Thoughts on the recipe…

Was not very good:

" I can really see how they go about mixing their recipes and get a sense of their style of mixing. PB Cereal, to me, was an unimpressive eliquid. It didn’t quite nail the flavor profile. I felt they really missed the authenticity and it was more on the creamy, custard, side than the gritty and sugary flavor of a Peanut Butter Crunch cereal."

I notice a lot of premium ejuices do this same thing when mixing, after Charies PB&Jesus was discontinued, I’ve seached and tried every peanut butter, and this PB Cereal sounds close to The Cloud Chemist – Atomic Peanut Puff but it tasted like milk and a hint of peanut butter cereal. I’m not a huge fan of milky vape flavors, nor would I want to vape it on a hot summer day.

Yes, I’m picky, I guess… Or they should just give us all our damn flavors back from flavor bans.

I initially meant to just use the pb base from the recipe, not the whole recipe, like TFA peanut butter + sugar cookie + AP + bav cream. I dont think i would like the addition of malted milk + vanilla custard in there either tbh?
I think i would also swap the peanut butter for their DX version & lower it a little?

Quick question for you/everyone: Do you find that steeping the peanut butter and jelly (or other similar flavor profiles) concentrates separately and combining them after provides a better flavor profile? I’ve tried vaping them on two different mods, identical tanks and coil, simultaneously, and it tastes incredible—I’m curious if this is a better way to steeep certain flavors, then add them together once they are perfect, or steep them together let them blend together and hope they blend correct?

I havent really experimented with this much tbh, beyond mixing bits of eliquids i have left together then trying to replicate the one i liked by using all ingredients from both recipes at a 50% reduction, but yes, it was different to the 2 eliquids i mixed together, i didnt really go past just halving all ingredients %'s to try to replicate it so im not sure? Maybe something worth looking into & documenting just to add to the pit of DIY information out there? This would be very time consuming though especially for a single mixer to do alone.
