Hi all
I am running a stingray mech mod with a velocity clone
I have just made a new twisted parallel set of coils (dual coils) and its pushing .22ohm
Normally i vape around .4ohms with twisted coils so i thought i would be a bit braver
I have just had a vape and noticed the velocity gets very hot to the touch ( no shorts ) after 5 or 6 big pulls
and maybe paranoia is kicking in i dont want it to go boom lol my batteries are the below i just want to make sure its going to be safe to use
Please could someone advise i apreciate it alot

Running with that ohm coil, you shouldn’t have any worries. The atomizer is gonna heat up after 5 or 6 hard pulls, no way around that.
Who’s makes those batteries, where’d they come from…questions like that.

Cool looking mod, by the way!

Are those genuine LG HE4s? Are you saying .22 ohms and was vaping .4 ohms? If they are real LG HE4s and your ohms is above .2 ohms it should be safe under normal conditions. I do feel safer with .3 ohms on a mech though. Some attys are thin walled and will get hot when vaping. This is why some have built in heat sinks such as the TOBH…

…good point…perhaps the decimal points are in the wrong places there?

The lower ohms you go the more heat is created.
Not much can be done other than fitting a heat sink section between mech and rda.
