Well I think it’s got some thing to do with those smokes we hold in our left hand and all the terpenes in them. Just my theory… for my lack of tasting a lot of fruity flavours

I most certainly do. However it’s not just with VBIC. I get it with so many vanilla flavors, such as Cap Vanilla Custard. The only ice cream I can tolerate is Liquid Barn Vanilla Ice Cream and that’s in small amounts.
Why it happens I don’t know. What I do know is that I’ve had an extremely healthy diet for 35 years. I haven’t had a single soda since 1983, I never use salt and I eat very few processed foods because I mainly taste salt when I do. I stopped alcohol 25 years ago. I have about 2-3 beers per year. Whether this has affected my taste buds is beyond me, but I suspect it might be a factor.
