In the link I posted stating âYou guys need to read thisâ it is an explanation why this guy quit selling Medicine Flower extracts. It statesâŚ
"I sold my first Medicine Flower dilutions on January 6, 2015. Since then, Iâve likely sold over $20,000 (probably closer to $25,000 but hard to tell because my reports remove refunds and chargebacks) worth of dilutions in that time. Thatâs a massive amount of flavor and aroma concentrates, and itâs been nice to get reports back from people who loved them â and went direct to Medicine Flower to acquire the pure versions at their hefty prices.
Unfortunately, while Iâve sold over $20,000 worth of the dilutions in almost a year, I actually paid over $30,000 out of pocket for all the supplies, flavors, glycerin, pipettes and more. In order to make sure I was always selling fresh flavor (they tend to lose potency in under 4 months of opening them), I sometimes was replacing a barely-touched 15ml bottle with a new one. I have 4 almost full bottles of Medicine Flower Plum which are all unsellable because I kept having to buy new ones to keep them fresh."

Be that as it may, the Federal Trade Commission doesnât really give a damn about them protecting their interests when at the same time theyâre screwing the public. Filing a formal complaint is just as easy as a few mouse clicks and typing a bit of text. Whether or not it would do any good is not an issue, the fact is itâs a resource for those of us who donât like being mistreated by businesses. https://www.ftc.gov/faq/consumer-protection/submit-consumer-complaint-ftc And the Better Business Bureau is another resource to report these unfair practices. Also the IRS would probably be very interested in what looks like fraud. Do the math at how much they short their bottles, the amount they charge per ml, and create your own estimate as to how much they sell per year vs how much they say they sell. My bet is itâs pretty nasty.

I canât wait to see what âSteepingâ does to MF recipes

Donât know if you have taken a look at whole of their website yet, but the Vaping community is but a tiny, tiny, tiny speck on their radar. I can see, by how much money their other products cost, how they couldnât give a ratâs butt about shorting vaping folks on their product. To them, weâre just a bunch of whiners!

Yup. It seems they have been around a long time. I donât think that is any excuse to short-change anyone though. I would like to see the foodie people using their products to catch on LOL

Better keep that steeping under 4 months!

That doesnât excuse them for shitting on the speck on the radar, no matter how many âtinyâsâ precede it. This is the very reason they feel comfortable screwing people because they just havenât had enough people complain via the proper avenues. Their BBB report is spotless. But that can be changed. Again Iâm emailing them. If they refuse to reply with a real remedy or they do reply with some cavalier attitude then I for one will exercise my rights to whine but I wonât whine to them.

I wouldnât bother with the BBB. They pay to be members. What do you pay Mr. Not-even-a-taxpayer-in-that-state?
The new way to out a company for being like them is to make sure it shows up when someone Googles their name. Put pressure on their distributors, like ECX. Keep on writing out âMedicine Flowerâ is the strategy given to me by a smarter person than me on this forum. . .
Above all, do not patronize liars. . .hey, I figured ECX will give me the right amount or make it right. Iâm still a hypocrite, I know.

Iâd suggest that instead of wasting our time hassling MF directly, we start putting pressure on their distributors both in the US and around the world.
My follow-up question will include a reference to the EU labelling and packaging rules and the responsibilities of importers and resellers.

They pay to be members to tout their flawless standing with the BBB. Not that everyone looks at that. But the BBB is the best place to file a complaint if a company wrongs you.

Disagree. I lost over $500 many years ago and the BBB just listed them as out of business after they stole a few weeks worth of income. BBB donât mean jack to me. Iâve posted a lot of stuff from Amazon to GlassDoor that has never seen daylight. The game is rigged.
Trash 'em (honestly) on a forum, pressure their distributors, and save my money is my plan.
Way to go @BathVaper!
I will reiterate my position on this. I will not buy from them until they get their shit in one sock and stop shorting people. I donât care how good their flavors are. If you have purchased from them and you where shorted. Please file a complaint at:
Stand up for yourself. Nobody else will. The people at Medicine Flower are ripping people off pure and simple. They give lame excuses as to âspecific gravityâ issues blah blah blah. Bullshit. Specific gravity has absolutely nothing to do with volume of measurement. 15 ml of 50 weight motor oil is the same as 15 ml of water is the same as 15 ml of my piss. The latter is all they will get from me.
The BBB is a REPORTING and TRACKING organization only. They do not act on complaints. They only report and track them and make their findings available to the public. The people to file a complaint with that WILL take action is the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. If the FTC gets 15 complaints they will go after them like a pit bull after a meatball.
Also file a complaint with your stateâs Attorney General. They will look into it and if they find anything to support your accusations, they will order Medicine Flower to cease and desist from selling to ANYBODY in your state, and they will then file a complaint with the FTC. A complaint filed by a state AG will get everybodyâs attention at the same time.

I didnât mean the BBB will do anything about a complaint. But when you do a search for a company, if they are listed with the BBB that info will show in a search for the company.
I believe I mentioned the FTC. I also mentioned the BBB. But I donât think I mentioned having to pick one over the other. Please donât try and dissuade people from reporting them to the BBB. Thatâ makes no sense.

They are a perfect 5ml, i tested them and shared the info on the DIY reddit sub. @DonovanECX commented on my results saying that they re-bottle the flavorings themselves and that they do not short the bottles.
There is a very dramatic difference, i cant even vape them fresh.
