I’m trying to make a raspberry ripple ice cream. What would people recommend using for the raspberry ripple. I’m thinking a combination of FA Raspberry and SSA Raspberry Syrup.
I was going to suggest the SSA Raspberry Syrup, so you’re on the right track.
Next, you’re going to need an ice cream. I’m partial to LB - Vanilla Ice Cream, SSA - Ice Cream, and SSA - Ice Cream Vanilla. This selection depends on whether or not you want your ice cream to be vanilla heavy or not. IIRC, raspberry ripple ice cream was a sweet cream ice cream with just hints of vanilla. So maybe SSA - Ice Cream, and a bit of your favorite sweet cream flavoring to accomplish that.
Lastly, my favorite Raz Ripple was from Haagen Dasz, and I’m sure it also had white chocolate flakes inside. For white chocolate notes, I’d personally go with VSO - White Chocolate, MB - White Chocolate, NOMZ - Chocolate (White), or WF - White Chocolate (Milky Cream). You’re not going to get the crunch that comes from a chocolate chip, but you’ll get the taste from any of the white chocolate flavorings available. I’m a big fan of the VSO, but it’s extremely buttery, so start low if using that one.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Iggy
PS- here are two recipes for raspberry ripple. Different approaches, so take a look at both.

Fa raspberry & ssa raspberry syrup are in my raspberry ripple, they work brilliant together & fa is my #1 raspberry anyway, this is what i mix quite often -
Its a solid raspberry ripple tbh.
Edit - this is still undergoing some minor tweaks which is why its not public on my profile yet but its very close to being finished.
