Wow, you like it HOT!!!
Do you use salts?
ewwwwwww no
10 chars this a complete sentence
Just wanted to thank everyone for the information and advice. I love everything about this forum. I’ve learnt so much since reading and asking on here. Some things have puzzled me for a while and answered easily here!!
I am going to try the 0.2 coil on the oxva vprime I use so can see if I like sub ohm before buying a kit. I feel better about trying it knowing u dont need to be able to inhale deeply for ages!! The mnd is affecting my respiratory a little and so I should manage dtl if that’s not gonna require deep lung hits!
@Mediocre_Remedial the smaller fiddly shiny pod kits are the ones I am forever dropping and yet the oxva vprime which is heavier and has a leather finish I’ve not dropped once in the month plus have had it. But rta rda etc isnt possible with finger dexterity problems.
Thanks everyone.
I’ve gone into a handful of shops here in the Atlanta area and all I’ve seen is the stuff you mentioned and never any “serious” vaping gear. I have been using some disposables though for stealth vaping at football and baseball games. They’re not great but certainly do the trick.
Dude, I’m working with a buddy of mine right now. He’s using a pod, 25 watts, unflavored 40mg/ml freebase. He’s been like this for over 10 years.
During my years as a network engineer, we are always concerned with network equipment catching on fire. There are 2 types of detectors. Ionization and photoelectric. Ionized has radio active plates where the air between the plates is ionized. When the air is disrupted the alarm goes off. They don’t know the difference. Steam can set them off…
They are better for hot fires, while photoelectric is better for smoldering fires. Always seemed counterintuitive to me.
Photoelectric aim a light source into a sensing chamber at an angle away from the sensor. Smoke enters the chamber reflecting light onto the light sensor setting off the alarm.
You can get dual sensors. That’s what I had put in my house.
And they say an old dog can’t teach young pups new tricks!
Now, we can’t go putting a sprinkler system to put out fires in a network room, can we? LOL. Started with one server smoldering because a mouse shit on the motherboard, the rain happened and now I’m looking for a job. Again.
Network rooms should be sealed. When smoke is detected, a system sucks the air out.
Bookmarked that, thanks! Not ready for that yet, but hopefully soon.
Oh, shit. Just got it. Pauly’s Nuts…
You know, that’s got me to wondering. If I were nuts, how would I know it?
Speaking to @SessionDrummer it seems I don’t have to. I guess after smoking weed for 35 years, I got used to hitting it like a joint. I’d crack the airflow open just a wee bit, and take a big ol’ hit.
FWIW, I haven’t done that shit in something like 35 years. Or 40. Probably 40. My memories not so good.
Holy bejeezus that’s some serious nic!!! I just pulled out my Vaporesso Pro that I hadn’t used in months and took a vape…almost coughed a lung out as the nic salt is 25mg…guess I needed that strength when I first quit smoking…got used to the 6 or 7mg freebase hehe. Anyway, I have a bunch of unopened salts that I have to go through so its fun to discover flavors that I have never tried. Workin on Cloud Nurdz Peach Dragonfruit, very yummy.
Hey, now I have to change the names of all my recipes, too. I call them “Pauly Walnuts Candy store, or bakery”.
Open to suggestions. Someway of inferring I’m nuts, but also suggesting the one’s a have.
Pauly’s Nuts, or Pauly Nuts?
Well you know what. I think you just be yourself.
I just learned some Spanish, it says something like “just be yourself and always stay true to your heart”
Si realmente eres una abeja, sé una perra gorda para ser libre.
I’m a funny guy over here! Someone said I should create a recipe with chocolate and nuts and call it Pauly’s Nuts. I didn’t get the joke at first. I need to watch how I reply to a topic, so it has come context.
Like who am I replying to, and what about. My brain is a classic antique. And it’s getting classier and more antiquated. See I’m funny! No matter what my family and friends say.
Ok I heard that this “japanese” cotton is literally the same exact thing that gets repackaged as vape cotton at like 10x the price. I really prefer the cotton sheets over cotton bacon.
I think it wicks better, it fluffs so beautifully and evenly with no effort. It auto-fluffs when taking the outer layers off. It’s so much easier to measure and cut. Better than eyeballing a small strip off a thick piece of cotton.
Thoughts? Personal experiences?
have you tried rayon?
some suggestions
“paulie’s nuts”
“paulies gun / candy store”
“Paulie’s batshit craZy bakery”
“who am I? how did i get here?”
“all work no play makes paulie a dull boy”
I’ve not tried Rayon… I really just wanna get these cotton sheets.
It turns out I should have have just looked at the Amazon reviews for these Muji pads. It’s full of people who are using them to vape lol.
I just ordered the Muji cotton. I’m excited to see how it compares to the few sheets of stuff I bought at the vape store for $2. It at least looks like the same exact thing. The bag of cotton bacon i have lasted me since sometime in the beginning of summer last year. Oh I can’t wait until it’s warm outside again.
If theres 180 cotton sheets and I can get 2-3 wicks out of each, that will be 360-540 wicks for 7$ and if 1 wick usually lasts me at least a week, then I’m only using at the very least 52 wicks a year… If my calculations are right, his bag of cotton could potentially last 5-10 years at that rate. I’ll probably need to store it in a different container so it stays fresher.
It’s no wonder why they market “special” vape cotton. People would never buy it again.
