So I’m a bit under the weather (gotta love public school and parents not keeping sick kids home!), and because of this I’ve been able to let the samples “steep” for the last 4 days without touching them. I decided just now to give the french toast a go since my sinuses are clearing and see what a short steep does.
Damn, that’s all I can say, even at four days the flavors have really blossomed and the gears are already turning for addins. Unfortunately I only have 16ml of the flavor left which won’t go very far, guess I’m going to have to bust out the card. On the bright side, the inlaws sent us a $150 for our anniversary (12 years on Sunday!) and the missus said it’d be fine if I wanted to order some extracts.
I tried some of the other samples I made (Cookies and Cream, and Bread Pudding) and they’re both progressing nicely, so I’m comfortable that this lime fits in with my personal preference, so time for some bulk purchasing!
Everything I have right now is the VG based version as that was all that was available when I ordered from One Stop DIY. I’ll be ordering Extracts from the Real Flavors website tomorrow probably along with VG versions of Egg Nog and Pumpkin Pie. I’ve got extract versions of French Toast, Coconut, Cheesecake, Watermelon and Baklava in my cart as well. Should be fun mixing!
I know, Right? I (allegedly) put a moratorium on all vape related spending until the middle of October since we have a trip to DC planned on the 15th (completely off topic, but I’m thinking of spending a few minutes outside the FDA building chucking clouds at the clowns, passive aggressive much?), and then these holiday flavors come out and will likely need a good month of steeping? Arrrragh!

ETA: Damn, just checked and the FDA is in Silver Springs, MD. Since we’re taking the train to DC that’s a bit far to walk for a one man protest. Guess I’ll just have to vape in front of the Capitol Building! Hmmm, would the Washington Monument look like a chimney if I chucked clouds through the windows at the top?

I decided to try a 100% VG mix with the raw extracts. Mixed up Strawberry and Condensed Milk, both at 2% since I figured the all VG mix would dull the flavors a bit. I also added 5% distilled water and 1% One on One sweetener.
I mixed this on Wednesday night and have been vaping it all day today, talk about tasty, a real delicious Strawberry Milk, I am going to mix up a 100ml bottle of this for sure. It might be a little too strong though so will probably go 1.5% each, going to finish off this current bottle and decide.
I’m hopeless. I made it less than 48 hours since I said no more flavors from anyone. I was on lock down. Made it 12 hour since my last whine.
I cannot tell a lie. The addiction is real. I have Vanilla Ice Cream, Elephant Ear, Cookie Dough and PB Cookie on order now. And the PB Cookie was the only one I was gonna allow myself, cause I can’t survive without PB Cookie Custard. Ooooops, don’t know how those other things ended up in my cart. I must blacked out momentarily. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it
Yes, there is. It’s right here, we are all very very supportive of the addiction. I won’t name names, but some are (looks around nervously) instigators!
I should probably make this a new thread but just a heads up… There is a major shortage of Sucralose right now. They are not expecting it to be back shipping it until Feb 2017.
