Real Flavors! All Natural VG Based Flavors

I think there is some issue with supplying to the UK I think I may of seen Walt mention it once, I mean everyone says they are good and I was expecting a long steep but, I’m not noticing any change…like …at all, taste the same now as they did a month ago
that can’t be right.
Maybe you’re right I should make a higher percentage mix and see how it goes…I’ll report back in…ooh…3 months? lol

Lmao…Which flavors are you using at what percentages? And are you using PG at all? If you are mixing max VG it takes an even higher percentage, just doesn’t carry the flavor as well. I usually mix 30/70.

Ok, well I don’t have the creme Brulee. But I do have the CM…I’m addicted. That’s actually a pretty good strength for an accent. However, if the brulee is anything like the bread pudding, you will need a minimum of 12% if it’s the dominant flavor. Even in blends, I still need a higher percentage.

Like this is one I do:

Bread Pudding & Vanilla Sauce

Ingredient %
Bread Pudding (Real Flavors) 12
Catalan Cream (FA) 1
Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) (FA) 0.5
Marshmallow (FA) 1
Stevia 0.25
Vanilla Custard (Flavorah) 1.5

Flavor total: 16.25%

I normally never go much over 15-20% for any mix. However, with the VG flavoring I have actually had to exceed 20% on some blends. That is why I am LOVING the extracts, flavors are just as good using a LOT less.

If it was me, I would bump that Brulee up to 12% just as a start, and probably wouldn’t even be afraid of 15%.

If it still doesn’t taste better, I would consider lowering the creams, they are notorious for muting flavors. Brulee is already a cream, and with the other creams the raspberry might be muted as well as the spices in the brulee. Maybe drop them each to 1.25% each or get rid of one.

But that is just me…everyone has different tastes, and it won’t hurt my feelers if you don’t care for my suggestions either

But thanks @Lolly much appreciated

Oooh - could it be because the vaccination has a bit of the actual virus in? My Pa ended up with Shingles after the Shingles jab. Plenty of fluids (non-alcoholic obvs) :kissing_heart:

Yeah, but don’t worry, I’ll have a beer for ya @Pugs1970

You can tell when I have the flu… You walk in to my home office and I have a caffeine pill floating in a glass of Monster energy, and next to that a can of Lysol haha

Me too. I can generally be found in the fetal position whining like a baby

Right @SthrnMixer haha.

I seem to only get sick once a year but when I do… I am the biggest baby for the following 3 days… (when in the fetal position I am normally writing out my will again removing all the people I know got me sick hahaha)

same…my Mrs said this morning whilst trying to make the bed (with me in it) “why is it you’re super brave after spinal surgery, you suck it up after both shoulder operations, but give you the flu and you turn into a 4 year old!”…I just looked at her like… “hold me”…

LMAO…you all are hilarious, but it’s so funny because it’s true
But thank you for the reminder. I was going to get my flu shot tomorrow when I take my son for his. But I have surgery in about a week, and if I get the flu after the shot, even a mild case, might not be so good. Especially with my lack of immune with the leukemia.

Seriously, thank you all, it could have been a very bad situation for me.

Wishing you well for your surgery next week along with a speedy recovery :hugs:

You might try 80-85% vg, as that seems to be my sweet spot. Less than that and it starts to get into “issues territory”. The further towards pg the worse the issues, but at 80vg+, they’re at least manageable. GL in finding yours! =)
