Real Flavors! All Natural VG Based Flavors

I live in Canada. In Vancouver B.C you cannot get it. You can buy it in Edmonton. I have considered having a friend ship a bottle to me. That is all i know.

You would still only do the 1 to3% possibly up to 5% in a mix not 20%. PG and PGA are not the same at all. The PGA will thin the juice much more than PG will so 20% PGA is going to be as thin as water. Plus at 20% PGA the throat hit is going to be brutal. Again you can not look at it as totally replacing the volume of the PG in the mix.
I hope that makes sense.

The SC adaptation I made of this based on what I had on hand turned out really good. Still vaping my tester but this is near the top of my list when I get around to making some larger RF SC batches. I have posted it a couple of other times in other threads but here it is again for anyone that might have missed it before:

White mice rice (RFSC)
1.50% Rice Krispy Treat (Real Flavors)
0.90% White Chocolate (Real Flavors)
0.70% Cream (Real Flavors)
0.50% Caramel Original DX (TFA)
0.50% Marshmallow (Real Flavors)

Yes, that absolutely makes sense but I guess I wasnā€™t clear, sorry. I want to replace the pg with white rum.

When I used the PGA I was referring to the White Rum you want to use. PGA, pure grain alcohol. vodka, etc. All the same when it comes to adding it to e-juice. No matter which one you use you can not replace the PG with the same percentage for the reasons I listed above.

Got it now. I may be treading in deep waters for a newb. Thank you for your patience.

If anyone is interested Iā€™ve noticed that chefs flavours (UK) have got all the real flavors VG concentrates available at Ā£1 for 10ml, Ā£2.50 for 30ml and Ā£8 for 100ml.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the VG flavours. Iā€™ve got yumberry, straw and cream, blackberry, red energy and a couple of others at the moment. I only mixed them up a couple of days ago at 15% in a 75vg 25pg mix but Iā€™m finding them incredibly weak. I think Iā€™d have to use 25% (apart from straw and cream which is stronger) to bring the taste out. Is this normal?

I tried to read most of the comments but thereā€™s just too many in this thread

The vg flav need a long steep time. I would not remix at 25% until they are fiully steeped - I would say a month ish. which is why a lot of us are using the sc now.

Yes, they need a minimum of a month with the VG. And they are significantly weaker as the VG just doesnā€™t carry the flavor as well. Most of the VG versions I mix in the 15-25% range depending on the flavor. As woftam saidā€¦I highly recommend waiting for the SC to be available, they are so much better in the 1-3% usage range.

I was going to order the SC direct last week but thought I should sample the VG ones first. A little annoyed chefs flavours dropped the price a day after I ordered. They also got my order wrong, was slow to despatch and havenā€™t responded to my email so wonā€™t be using them again.
Iā€™ll happily order the SC direct from real flavours. Iā€™ve read all the great reviews but was surprised how weak the VG ones are.
Any recommendations for the SC flavours?
Iā€™ve currently got about 130 different flavours from different manufacturers and about 160 bottles of concentrates here. I just donā€™t seem to be able to stop myself buying more!

Iā€™ll definitely leave them to steep but Iā€™m not expecting the flavour strength to increase much seeing as theyā€™re single flavour sample mixes. Being mainly fruit ones as well I would have thought the flavour would be more apparent. Especially due to the fact Iā€™m adding in Pg so it should all mix together pretty quick and release the flavour.
When I did a taste test of the concentrate it tastes great but is the same sort of taste I would get from a mixed flavour so based on that they must be very weak anyway. If I put a drop of something like tfa on my tongue it would be overpowering whereas the RF VG is pleasant.
I will make sure to allow a full steep though and see what itā€™s like then. Thanks for the advice :+1:

Iā€™d hold fire on the vgā€¦Iā€™m pretty certain (99.9%) Chefs are replacing them with the RFSC so that may be why theyā€™re now reduced :+1:

Edit: I see youā€™ve already orderedā€¦just ignore me

It just depends on your flavor profile you like. Some of my favorites are Bread Pudding, Vanilla Custard, Yumberry.

3 of my favorites are only available in the VG version right now, Walt said a few weeks out on the SCā€™s. Cinnamon Custard, Shamrock Shake, and Peanut butter cookie. Love them!!

He just released 14 new beta SC flavors, and has them priced at the $3.95 each instead of the usual 6.95 each 30ml. I just got Sc White Chocolate, but havenā€™t tried it yet. Some people said it was good. And I have Deep Fried Twinkie, Coconut Spiced Rum, Bread Pudding 2, and Butterfinger from the beta SCā€™s on the way.

This is the link to the SC lists if you want to go see average usages, notes, and recipes for any particular flavorings. I havenā€™t tried a lot yet as Iā€™m using up all my VG flavors first.

Real Flavor Super Concentrates List

EDIT: Ohā€¦and Condensed Milk! Itā€™s a staple in my mixing, must have!!!

Condensed milk and cinnamon custard are 2 I was hoping to get. Yumberry tastes great when dripped on finger for a taste test. I think Iā€™ll just mix up a 25% VG of that and have a nice strong one steeping to get a good idea of its flavour.
I think Iā€™ll order some the SC packs sometime over the next week as theyā€™re good value and use the elr discount code. Then the only real sting is the shipping to the UK, but that canā€™t be helped and Iā€™m too impatient to wait for UK stock.

You better hope customs donā€™t grab it if the value is above Ā£25. If I were you I would wait, both chefā€™s flavours and rainbow vapes will have the SC range very soon.

I was the same - bought a load of sc direct when @Walt_RealFlavors kindly had a Black Friday sale :+1:

yum, it is very good. I liked it as a standalone and really like it a lot in that white mice rice recipe I posted above by @Pugs1970

From what I can see thereā€™s no vat on these items so no import tax to pay and customs duty applies to over Ā£135 only. I may be wrong but thatā€™s what I can see on hmrc website when finding details on flavourings.

Hereā€™s the link to vat payable on food:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/vat-notice-70114-food/vat-notice-70114-food

On the main tax page it says about the tax payable dependant on type of item (flavourings are zero rated) and no customs duty below Ā£135.

Youā€™re 100% right with that one. I had to double check the Irish version. Food flavourings are classed a zero here too. That was a fucking shock to the system lol

Thatā€™s great news then. I only checked after you mentioned it as Iā€™d totally forgot about getting stung with import taxes. I didnā€™t check if extracts came under a separate code to flavourings though. Iā€™ve messaged the tax man for clarification and shall report back as it will be great to be certain that we can order away without any issues.
