Recent "Deaths" in the family ...Prepping for the Vapocalypse

Glad you fixed it, mate! Had a similar problem with my cloned Kraken (v1), slammed the positive pin down a bit and voila - no problem. That’s what I meant about the mech mods - does a recessed pin even count as “broken”?

BoDarc, I like your idea of a ‘Hardware Repair’ section.
Think we have a few members who have the skills
and would like to help others with repair ideas and suggest tools needed.
( and help in how to use them ), since a lot of users might not use these tools everyday,

Examples:

Digital Multimeter - coil/battery testing, plus tracing wiring problems.
Digital Caliper- O-ring, screw, tank part sizing.
Rotary Tool/kit ( Dremel type ) - Drill, sand, grind, etc.
Small Vise - to hold tanks, parts, for filing or drilling.
Precision Screwdriver Set

Just a thought.

It’s been such a disposable industry with all the direct-from-China-just-above-wholesale mailorder …like my little IGO -W2 I got for $10 …you can just chuck that stuff …now. As the FDA Regs move closer and God-knows-what transpires I see stuff getting dumped onto the market while they can, but then predict vape gear will get very much more expensive if not banned. Being able to fix stuff is about to be more in the spotlight
