Ability to reply to a post without being auto ‘sent to the last post’ (the reply that you just created as a user).
I looked for the old check box (that we ‘used to’ have) in settings/preferences, but either it’s been removed or moved (so it would seem anyways).
Apparently that was intentional 
They claim it didn’t work consistently.
There are several other threads about this as well 
I hope they’ll listen to their users.
Poor decision IMO.

I agree with you. Hopefully they’ll reconsider.
In the short bit I’ve read though, the powers that be seem pretty opposed to re-implementing this particular function.
I’m almost considering registering as a user there to add another voice to the cause.
