Looking to see what people would recommend for mesh RTA? And what meshes would you order with them? I’d like to make an order that will last me for a while.
I’m still rather new to rebuildables, and I have a Steam Crave Aromamizer Plus V3. Which is great, but I’m only wicking it right half the time…and it leaks when i get it wrong. I think I’d like to add a mesh rta for when I’m out and about.
I have a GeekVape L200 SE that ill be using it with.
Any WOTOFO Profile you can get your hands on. In my opinion they are the Timex of mesh RTA’s. They take a licking and keep on ticking. A little of a learning curve to wicking but once it’s learned you won’t be sorry.
Now the SC. It’s one of the best RTA’s on the market. I have 3 or 4 of them If it’s leaking it’s because your not putting the build deck in the correct position and getting the deck O ring to seal… Line up the wicking holes of the deck to the juice flow cut out’s push it in hard so the O ring seals then screw on the bottom ring and you should be good to go.
Thank you! I was looking at the WOTOFOs, is there any mesh that you would recommend picking up with a Profile?
And lastly…cotton. What works best with mesh decks?
Thanks, I really appreciate it!
Edit- ive also noticed when i thin the tails too much on my SC, it’ll leak when its not held straight.
I have also made that exact mistake that you’ve described more than once to be honest lol.
Depends on how you like your vaping temp’s. The coils are cheap. About $10.00 a box. A coil will last about 120ml before they get gunked up. Over time try different ohm coils to find the best for your style. Cotton? Look for something in the 5 to 6 mm range to get it as tight to coil as possible. Cotton Bacon is 6mm and should get 2 wicks per strip.
Wotofo mesh rebuildables are the Rolls Royce of mesh. All of them are good, but specifically the original Profile, but those are hard to come by. They have an RDTA, which you can use as just an rda or use in rdta mode, also can use mesh or coils. That’s my go to for mesh. Another one that I own are the Kylin mesh rta’s. For top airflow they have decent flavor.
This mesh rta has amazing flavor for mesh. I completely forgot I had it until just now. I had go go looking for the name. Again, might be hard to find.
You can’t really go wrong with any of the Wotofo mesh rebuildables though.
I will be ordering a Wotofo profile as soon as possible. I kinda over spent on Christmas gifts (and a flavor order lol), so it will have to wait for my next pay to be order one.
I may order one directly from their site, they actually seem to ship to Canada (rtas isn’t easy to find here). But ill see if i can find a vendor with some originals while I’m waiting.
I just started using my Wotofo Profile RTDA and let me tell you, I really love the flavor.
You can either use mesh or regular coils in it. I opted to try mesh for the first time, and I like it a lot. The mesh coil that I’m using (3 different ones came with it) is called the NexMesh Clapton @ .20 ohms.
Might want ot give this rtda a try, its a good one imo, and as reflected by the others. It works great and it is very versatile for different configurations.
I don’t think the tails have to be thinned depending on coil ID. Even at 3.5mm ID I rake to get crimp out from the scissors fluff and stick it in the guide. It’s important to fill that guide because when refilling it needs to be turned upside down draining below the what you can see in the tank. Then shut down the flow control then turn the tank upright fill the tank. replace the cap and turn on the juice flow again. Sounds like, to me, it’s flooding and leaking out the air intake from over filling.
The few times I’ve done coils I’ve used fused Claptons cut to 6mm length. Keep in mind on the RDTA there are separate screws to drop your coils in. It’s not like the other ones where people use the mesh clamps.
Edit- dual coil works better for me… sorry, forgot to add that lol
I did try doing it that way when i first got it. It worked perfectly as far as not leaking goes. But i was getting muted flavors, and when reading into it- I saw that too thick of tails can mute some flavoring. When I started thinning the tails, I immediately noticed an increase in flavor. Then i started getting some leaks. But I guess there’s a balance that I’m not doing right (more often then not).
I also chain vape pretty hard lol.

[/quote] I think that’s a likely culprit, i may not be draining it properly before refilling. Thank you!
It’s the only negative the RTA has ( turning the tank upside down and having to shut the flow control off then refilling and turning on the flow control on again. It’s all worth it though when you’re vaping on it.,
