Decided i needed a red currant concentrate but it turns out there aren’t any.
Came accross this though and wondered if anyone has tried it and if so does it taste like red currants?

Think it’s new.
Seen the inawera panther one and if it wasn’t for the inclusion of rhubarb it might have done for what I’m looking for.
I’ve pulled the plug on a small bottle of the cap so we’ll see soon enough.
Wonder why red currant has not been nailed yet.

All I can say is I love black currents in with some honeydew and cantaloupe, topped with strawberries and whipped cream! 
maybe a slice of lime… ohhlala!!

I only recently got this one, never had a red currant so can’t say as to it’s likeness.
Wouldn’t say it’s a really dark currant from the few times I’ve used it so far. Bright and sweet and it has worked well in candy recipes. Reasonably strong, comes through in the mix 0.5-1%.
