I can’t help you with any painting tips but I have used wraps before on some mods. This may be an option?

nice so is that material thin like tape is i like that idea ty
The ones I bought for a Vapor shark was about the thickness of painters tape.I was pleased with how well it worked although it is a little slippery feeling , it doesn’t offer much grip.
More than dings, e-juice causes finishes to fail. Silicone sleeves trap e-juice and hold it against the finish, so still not a real solution. The wraps can be replaced and offer so many looks …cool. Either way, I have found if you get 6 months of daily use, you’re lucky
I gotta go with @BoyHowdy and also suggest a wrap. I have a snake skin one on my cuboid and the rough texture gives me a better grip than the smooth wraps. The cuboid is a pretty straight forward shape so I went on ebay and bought a sample of the skin I wanted for a couple of bucks and it worked out nice. If you’re not handy with an exacto knife I’d recommend a ready made wrap for your specific mod.

I was just checking out this a few days ago one of my wismec 2/3 has a bit of a scratch and it mucks with my ocd. Some of them look pretty cool
If you want to get girly with it - use nail polish. Clean the spot off good first with alcohol.
If you want to get crafty, (and spend more) go to Hobby Lobby and get a teeny tiny bottle of Testors Metal Paint (The kind they use on model airplanes) use a very small brush or even rolling up a paper towel between your fingers to make the fake brush as small as the head of a pin to use for brush.
Take the mod with you to match the paint perfectly, all colors are not created equal.
I’m thinking mask, sandblast, and air spray
I was thinking the same thing! My daughters paint everything with nail polish. It can stay on things for quite a while!
So funny to see this as a suggestion! I was just thinking of dolling up my mod with my nail art paints and swirly designs, and then I read your post.
But for the purposes of fixing up a white kbox, your suggestion of the Testors Metal Paint is probably the better bet to get a match. if I recall correctly the kbox is a matte white - most nail polishes are glossy. Matching the finish is just as important as matching the shade!
Just sand it and spray down with rustollium
Yup, yup! Flat paint!
Now I want to decorate mine with some nail polish!!
We don’t want nail polish, YUCK! Ever heard of Rhino Truck Bed Liner? that would make it a nice texture.
Probably good for a winterized mod - less slipping from gloved hands!
ty everyone for your ideas i do like a few especially the wraps but @CosmicTruth idea has me thinking lol how cool would that be to rhino line it they also have plastidip which ive used on so many things
