[REQ] Looking for some help cloning "Al's Cookie"?

Cherry Vapes Al’s Cookie had always been a great ADV and also just a super addictive flavor… I’ve tried to clone it but with limited success…
I do know that it’s a sugar cookie with a touch of cinnamon and a pinch of coconut…
ATM I’ve been using a basic “moon cookie” recipe with added cinnamon and coconut but it’s still far from being spot on or even ballpark… any help would be very appreciative…

I’ve not had the juice, but if I were going to attempt something like that I’d probably go with Cap Sugar Cookie, Flavorah Rich Cinnamon (or FA Cinnamon Ceylon), and Cap coconut.

My theory (anecdotally confirmed) is that most juice companies tend to stick to one or two brands for their recipes to save on cost and maximize profits. They’re not likely to be using Flavorah, FA, or Inawera flavors as those are more expensive.

That being said, I’m guessing the cinnamon is coming from TPA’s cinnamon sugar cookie (which I’ve not used yet) and the coconut from TPA’s coconut or coconut extra (also little to no experience here). Maybe adding a touch of AP and/or brown sugar. If they’re using Cap flavors, maybe coconut, sugar cookie, and cinnamon danish swirl. Either way, likely also a ton of sucralose. Anywhere between 5 and 45% depending. With the other flavors in this recipe, I’d try it around 10% if using TPA Sweetener and around 5% if using Cap’s super sweet.

Good luck and keep us informed if you get anything good. I love coconut.

Wow JoJo !! That’s incredibly insightful of you… it’s hard to believe that you have not been DIY mixing for a ton of time… Although some folks (like you) are just naturals…
I totally agree, BTW and I’m going to use combinations of TPA, and CAP because cherry Vape made this flavor up a long long time ago (I remember them having it even back at Vapefest '10 so I’m thinking they use TPA mostly… I’ve ordered more AP along with some cinnamon and a few others that I was running low on and I’m going to get working on it…
I’ll definitely keep you posted !! Thanks again for the help !!! :slightly_smiling_face:

It sounds a lot like wookie cookie by vapor hut. I kept getting a little bit of coconut notes from it and I realized that was coming from fw graham cracker. Try this out. Its my clone of wookie cookie.

FW graham cracker 6%
FW waffle 1.5 %
FW whipped cream 1.5%
Sweetener 1.5%
Caramel candy fw 4%

U can also add 1% fw butterscotch.

Good luck

Thanks a bunch for the help and I will definitely keep yojveu posted !!
Have a Happy Holidays!!! :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m thinking maybe FA maple would work. I pretty much get a maple syrup flavor from fw waffle and tfa waffle. I just like fw waffle better. To me it’s less chemically or something.

Thanks I do have maple FA !! I’ll try a scant amount and see how it rounds it out…
I’m thinking I should make two smaller portions of this… one as a “control” and another to factor in the different trial and errors I may come upon…
Much appreciation for the help and great ideas… it’s a lot easier working together then it is alone… that’s why I like this place so dearly; it’s truly one of the last places left to get solid sincere answers…

Here’s where I’m currently at (a bit more busier then I intended for a base recipe but ??) I guess I’ll have to play around a bit… if anyone wants to follow along here’s where I’m at with it…

It looks good! The thing is I don’t know many premium juices using that many flavors. It seems like they take 4 or 5 flavors with a lot of sweetener and call it done. I only know of like 2 mixers that actually blend they’re juices and put a lot of different flavors in them. Maybe this juice is one of them? Definitely check out fw graham cracker. You will be amazed at the coconut notes u get from it.

@juice_junkie_lover thanks for the insightful tips !! I totally agree with you about how most places don’t use too many flavors cause it’s too expensive and complicated for them to do that…
Although Cheryl and Chris from Cherry Vapes are not your normal types… they both are great people who take a lot of time to develope whatever it is, their doing… So it’s not to hard for me to believe theirs a wide variety of flavors, but then again it may not have more then 4-5 ??
Oh yeah I always forget how FW graham cracker had lots of coconut in it and for some reason I always over look it and use TPA or Cap by habit LoL !! I will definitely swap out the graham for FW and probably bump it up a small bit too…
I’ll let you know what develops with it for sure…:slightly_smiling_face:

Ok cake batter got to go… I may replace it with a little pinch of brown sugar??
For some strange reason, in the end, I feel that this recipe is going to come down to a few basic ingredients much like @juice_junkie_lover said in the beginning LoL !!!

LOL! Yea I was amazed and a little upset when I finally figured out wookie cookie clone. I was thinking damn I spent all this money on this juice and that’s all it is. Once I figured the recipe out I have NOT vaped it since. Crazy how that works out. A co worker of mine still can’t get enough of it.
