Salt nic? Difference between freebase?

O.k here there is no longer any higher than 20mg/ml nic or salt nic. Thats not even what I’m wondering about. I’ve never mixed salts b4 n not sure what the differences are (or if) when we use the elr calculator? There’s no salt nic option…I’m using
65mg/ml vegetable glycerin based salt nicotine…do I still input it the same as I would freebase? So 100% VG and 65mg /ml then my desired end result? And if so what’s the difference?,

@ladycrooks just input it, and use it like regular freebase in the calculator.

@SessionDrummer is spot on about the calculator. When it comes to the taste of salt nicotine, each one has different characteristics and phs.

Benzoate is generally sold with a ph of 6.3-6.5, so it is neutral and smooth but, it is the most prone to developing a yellow or brown hue.

Salicylate has a much lower ph, 4.6-4.9, and with the lower ph it has a sharper acidic note.

Malate is at 5.4-5.7 and really suits citrus blends.

Personally, I only use Benzoate and Malate. I choose based on the flavours in the blend and which one will suit it.

There are a few others, like Salt Tartrate, but are not in common use.
