I’ve tried to find the answer but I haven’t had any luck. Can I use any recipe as a salt recipe? Just change the nicotine concentration to the salt nic concentration and its good to go?
@mrdevious yes.
Assuming you will be using higher NIC levels with the Salts vs. Freebase, you may have to up the flavor percentages a little if you are, but yes, and welcome to ELR.
Yes and no. Don’t worry about using high percentage of salts in a recipe. Any recipes. You have to look at the equipment your vaping with. High wattage direct to lung devices you take in more vapor so you might want to reduce your nicotine content because of the larger volume of vapor. Low wattage pods you keep your nic at a higher percentage where you want it and probably increase the flavor percentage by about 2/2.5 percent.
I’m using a Vaporesso Luxe X. I’m currently using salt juices at a 25-30 mg range. I’m planning on keeping it at roughly the same but wanted to check about some of the recipes. I’ll increase the flavor percentages and give it a try. Thanks!
Thanks for the info!
You will most likely need to change pcts of flavor , change PG and VG ratio as well.
Using 25 to 35mg your ratios are going to be off so you wont be able to just change Nic ratio. You will also be diluting the flavor as well so Yes you can but the recipe isnt going to be the same and No you can just change concentration and be good to go.
Welcome and glad you joined.
