Saving recipes

Every time I try to save a recipe now I receive these errors.

The target strength field is required.
The wvpga field is required.
The pg goal field is required.
The vg goal field is required.

All of these fields are filled out. After I receive this error it wipes out my recipe.

@newyorkers4ever if you HAVE filled them all out, it shouldn’t be erroring out. You running noscript or adblocker ?

@SessionDrummer It’s the same old bug using vape ready base liquids. Until the bug is fixed (might be a long time), you shouldn’t use it. Use the above search link to look for workarounds.

Welcome and glad you joined.
For a short term work around (I have used this site in the past) you might want to try:
https://ecigvape.com/e-liquid-calculator-with-pgvg-adjusting
It’s on line, can be saved, free and easy to use. Can’t save your recipes in too many places.

Another way of going about it is to enter your recipe but not save it. Scroll down and you’ll see in real-time the result of your recipe.
Then to save it, re-enter your recipe but instead of using vape ready nicotine base, enter it with the resulting ratios for VG/PG/nic. If you want to re-make your recipe, just look at the %/weight/volume of your total base liquids to add to your flavors.

I make my own base liquids for ease of use when I’m mixing. I just look at the weight of my flavor concentrates and then top up the bottle with my base liquids, no measurements needed. That’s another easy way to go about it, albeit not as accurate. I can’t say I’ve ever tasted a difference between a recipe that I’ve eyeballed with base liquids or precisely measured out. The differences are too small to notice, even when working with super concentrates and using 1% or less flavor total. The most important thing in your recipe is your flavor ratios and if you fill your bottles (i.e. not mixing half a bottle but a full bottle of which you know the volume), it’s really not difficult to work around this bug.

If you care about accuracy, you shouldn’t work with vape ready base liquids. I really don’t care much if my resulting nicotine is somewhere between 4.5 and 5.5mg and VG/PG ratio can be anywhere between 65v/35p to 75v/25p, it all depends on how much flavor is in my recipe.
