So my wife has these smelly things all over the house. I mean it’s ridiculous, in every room in the house. It’s a scented wax that sits on a heating element and when it melts, they smell pleasant. Well she has a scent called Luna and it smells amazing!!! Like you want to eat it good so I need this flavor in my life. Anyone know what I’m talking about? After smoking for almost twenty years, my taste buds are broke and I can’t figure out a starting point in how to turn this scent into a flavor. Any suggestions?
The Lemon Sugar Cookie by Tuscany Candle smells like a really good cereal vape. Dont try to eat them tho, they arent as tasty as they smell.
I have a bunch of flavorings, i dont use anymore, that i am going to try and make my own with.
Do you know the brand?
Luna by Scentsy
So would this be the right description?
Product Description
LUNA SCENTSY BAR
The base of this intriguing Luna Scentsy Bar fragrance is composed of rich, earthy sandalwood. This forest element grounds the dazzling top notes of bursting berries and sensual white florals, including jasmine, freesia, and hypnotic sweet pea. Sleep will be the furthest thing from your mind once the room is filled with this lively yet mysterious scent. You’ll be far too busy enjoying the wonders of your own waking dream!
Yup ,do believe it is.
Smells like a blue raspberry, berry something IDK… Never would of guessed sandlewood.
Sandalwood is a great scent! I don’t know about vaping it though lol.
lol right, I guess my sniffer don’t work that well either
But then you’ll have no problem vaping it either - if you can find something similar lol
Possibly find a nice mild tobacco to replace the sandlewood.
Good idea, I was thinking more of a bourbon or something but I may go that route.
My wife sells scentsy , i know exactly what you mean, when ever im looking for inspiration i just start crackeing open bars till i find one with the smell that i just wana bite lol
Well what i get from a quick sniff that i can translate to flavors would be a very light blue berry with a posible touch of rose
There is somthing else but i cant put my finger on it
I agree with either the tobacco or burbon for the sandalwood , but i also just sniffed a sandalwood incense and thats not what im smelling.its more than just that.but its very delicate.
i dont get as strong scent from the wax as i do if its melting so i cant say forsure
Interesting topic I happen to of never smelled this scent but am intriqued for sure ! Seems like it could be done but I have a feeling the %s would need to be super low on the florals as they tend to steep with a vengance !
Sweet Pea- we don’t have a flavor that replicates this at this time my thoughts would be to add a small touch of a concord grape.
Berries well it depends if they are dark or is it more blue raspberry crush like ??? Could go a couple different ways. If it is more of a blueberry, acai, blackberry, black currant like then you’d be able to use Forest Fruit FA for the berry scent. If you think it’s more of a Blue Raspberry ( like a snow cone or blow pop ) you could use a Blue Raspberry there are a few I like Liquid Barn and Euro Flavors both are great.
Sandalwood - I think you could achieve this by using Oak wood FA and a blend it w/ Ylang Ylang FA both would be very very small % like 1 drop each.
Jasmine FA for Jasmine go light 1-2 drops for 10 mls should get near the background aroma your looking for any bit higher and you’ll start to have them be pronounced.
You said something about Bourbon …the sandalwood effect does do well w/ a boozy influence you could try to use 1 drop of Liquid Amber FA to help this a long and you may find that just a little bit of Jamaican Rum FA will do fine as well. I like Brandy FA as well to add that fermented like booziness to berries. It just depends on where you want it to go. I must say thou…this would be quite a nice mix just curious how accustomed to florals are you w/ vaping ? This seems like a large step in the floral direction and I do welcome it as we don’t have as many members raving about floral/flora flavors
On a side note I just recented made this recipe public but it has many of the same properties as Luna but a few are missing. Just thought I’d share it w/ you in case you are looking for something to try to get you in the direction you’re headed.

The berry I believe to be a lite sweet berry. I haven’t dipped into floral yet but this might be a interestingly enough way to start.
Yes , it would def be a nice way to start ! I think Forest fruit FA is pretty nice and sweet has some tartness to it thou most blue raspberry flavors are sweet too choice is yours !
