Mine passed with flying colors…after I made sure all my connections were tight!
As far as the weight thing goes, 175g is a stout package to carry around. I’d be afraid the doors would tend to pop off if I pocketed his thing on a daily basis, thus the (sticky) sleeve. When out and about, I’m still carrying my mech mod, for dropsies sake.
I’ve got the silicone on this and all four of the iSticks.
I had the sleeve off one of them for a bit a couple weeks ago and hated it. They’re so damn smooth, it constantly felt like it was about to slip out of my hand. Not comforting.
I see that many, many folks buy wraps but I expect those are pretty slippery too. Seems purely an aesthetic choice anyway. I’ll stick with the silicone sleeves.
Though with the shorter life of this single cell, and the fact that this sleeve is much tighter than the iSticks… it’s a bit of a bitch for changing the battery.
