So today at the post office I had a an interesting time.was trying to send a friend some of my diy juice ,got to the counter and was asked what I was posting ,I said e liquid and her face scrunched up.she then called over her colleuge and all hell broke loose .
I said itnwas only 3 mg to which one of them said you couldn’t even get 3,then I said I had made it myself and that made everything worse.alot of looking at rules and regulations and me explaining that vg and pg are harmless( and about 15 mins later) they found a note saying e liquid can be sent of strenghts 5 mg and less.thankfully they sent it ive sent juice from the same post office before with no problems but what a palaver
Next time do yourself a favor and say it is Vegetable Glycerin. You could also look online for the postage amount, put stamps on it and drop it in the box. If they then open the box then they can haggle over the legality without you being hassled…
hand lotion- food flavors- candle wax …anything but… LIE LIE LIE lol
Lies man these are times that lies are necessary.
Its an invasion of your privacy, package your eliquid & when asked what you shipping reply person items for a friend.
You don’t have to disclose what your shipping unless going through customs.
So order flat rate boxes threw the USPS and request a price for your flat rate box size & buy the shipping label in advance, then you don’t gotta do anything but drop it in a mailbox.
When I send friends DIY juice in the mail they ask me if I have any liquids contained. My answer is always “Nope!”.
They dont need to know whats in your parcel. Thats what they have machines for.
Found out today that Texas did pass as part of it’s Ecig Rules that any Ecig stuff through shipping services will require age verification. Please ignore my earlier comment if you are in the state of Texas (or wanting to ship there) and add the state of Massachusettes (excuse the spelling). Goes into effect October 1, 2015…
Flat rate box and kiosk in the lobby are your friend. It’s like an atm but spits out a stamp to put on the box the you just drop it through the slot
There are many forms of DIY…mailing a package is in that category…for now, at least. Let’s hope it stays that way for a long time.
