So, what's in your tank today?

Maybe the coil is more saturated ? Steeping time ? Or perhaps …and this is a big maybe but I used to get wicked throat hits right before one of my nautilus coils was about to go sour

I think you’re right, it almost has to be the coil. I’m pretty sure I could put the same juice in the Atlantis, and it would smooth right out again. Thanks for the thoughts.

Vaping some butterrum crunch …my own mix …with a couple drops of custard …unreal with the goblin .6 ohm coil at about 25 watts

You were right, I just wicked the .5 ohm RBA that comes with the Subtank mini, went back to 25W, 3.5V, and no more throat hit. I made a little modification on the RBA. I kept hearing complaints about less air flow through the RBA in comparison to the OCC coil, so I drilled out two of the air holes on the bottom of the RBA. Excellent air flow and tons of vaper. mmmh, that butter rum crunch with a little custard sounds good.

Do yourself a favour and try this mix …unreal …I may even throw in some vanilla bourbon …for just a bit more depth…or not either way …mmmmmmm

Tank?..Oh yeah where did I put those?

Oh oh, the throat hits are back with a vengeance. Now it doesn’t seem to matter what coil I have in the Subtank Mini, I’m getting massive throat hits using the RBA and the .5 ohm OCC I rebuilt last night. I’m trying wattage settings between 20 - 25, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference. Guess I’ll change coils again. Anybody have any suggestions? Since the question is “what’s in your tank today?”, this is happening with a Cowboy blend at 4mg nic.

I have lowered my nic level to 2 mg because it’s just too harsh with my Goblin . Are you lung hitting or mouth to lung? Perhaps you could rebuild a coil to say 1 ohm or higher might make for a more preferable vape for you ? I’m no pro tho so maybe a very experienced vaper could chime in on this one . One other thing is I’ve noticed a difference between nicotines …I have one that’s way harsher than the other .

I’ve been playing around with different wattage and voltage settings, but your right, I don’t get the throat hit with my 0mg juice. So far 20W, 3.5V seems to be much better with the 1.2 ohm OCC coil back in. I lung hit.

I’m Vapin black honey, caramel and bavarian cream in a Billow @ 28.6w, 3.8v and .51ohm dual coil and its good. I really like the black honey flavor Mmmmmm :grinning:

I’m vaping a mix with no name. I tried to do a fruit salad but it tastes more like a pear candy.

I’ve got a creation of peppermint and french vanilla in my subtank (65vg/35pg) with the RBA. Its a work in progress. I made my bother a nic free brownie that he loves. kinda a rocky road flavor. I can tell this is going to be an expensive hobby lol
