Just remember the batteries may be not good. I would recommend replacing the batteries.

Oooh I loved the Boondock Saints!

@SthrnMixer, Sorry to hear about your mods - Next time never fire it before itā€™s dry againā€¦ Stickā€™em in a bowl of dry rice and coverā€™em with it. Then wait and hope for the best!

Yep, the batteries are wet toast. No saving them.

Sorry to hear that brother. If you got an air compressor or a even a leaf blower, blow the crap out of em! This happened to my istick 2 days after I got it and I took a leaf blower to it while my boy held it out and turned it. Left it in a bowl of rice over night and the next day, and it was right as rain. Hope you can get at least one of them working againā€¦

Got the batteries laying out. I donā€™t know if theyā€™re trash or not. Iā€™m not going to worry either if they work. I did pull one of the Efusions out and it worked fine. Vaped on it about 2 hours but put it back in the rice. Geez if the water is a serious issue I would need to replace 6 - 18650s and 2 LiPo packs.

This is so true. If something electronic gets wet, do not try to use it until you are sure itā€™s completely dry! It might already be toast, but if you try to run current thru water, itā€™s gonna short out, and then it will be toast for sure. :frowning:

Some times things just donā€™t make sense my wife dropped her cell phone in the water the other day. I mean like in your case big time I looked it over when I got home wife already used hairdryer on it and stuffed in large bucket of rice after explaining how dangerous that was and waste of time i put the bowl and phone out side .next day the wife smiling ear to ear as she was talking on her phone and it is still working. Me I go fishing get couple drops of water on me and my phone it dies .you might be in luck seeing it was the wife. Now as long as you did the opposite of how I do it .you will not be in trouble with the wife .trying to come up with the least pan full way to remove my foot from my big mouth good luck

You have the right attitude ! Donā€™t sweat the petty things and donā€™t pet the sweaty things. No use in getting bent out of shape on things we canā€™t control and especially when it can be replaced.
I can feel you pain though ,me and a good friend was fishing the Ohio river one day.We pulled anchor and was running the trolling motor scanning the bottom with the depth finder. We were both staring at the depth finder when a barge came by closer than I like making some huge rollers. After a few minutes we found a good place and dropped anchor only to find every rod in the rack on the back deck had gone in the river.Five Abu Garcia 7000 big game reels and Shakespeare Tiger rods.
I thought my buddy was going to stroke out right then and there .It made matters worst that I was making a joke about it even though two of those rods were mine.I got him calmed down eventually and gave him a couple of my rods that I had in the front rod locker. Before that day was over both of us had caught the biggest fish of our lives at that point.
We still fish together all the time and to this day if the fish arenā€™t biting one of us will say something about throwing a rod in to make a sacrifice to the river gods.

Yeah Zigz, I learned that lesson in the hardest of ways.It still hurts lol. (Tears) The thing with a mod though, they are usually always on and I wonder if in that scenario if @SthrnMixer could have even saved it. I just feel bad for you dude!

The first half of this sentence I agree with 100%. The second half, well I have seen some sweaty things I was more than happy to petā€¦among other stuff!!! Whoop, there it is!

So, both Efusions are working. The Reuleaxā€™s work too but they still are holding onto some water. I have them in the rice in a freezer bag but now outside in the sun. I feel that Iā€™m going to have all 4 of these mods working fine again. Which brings me to another pointā€¦another dammit moment. I was looking for an excuse to drop the $$ on a DNA 133. If all these are working then I donā€™t have an excuse.

I am sooooo happy for you!

There is always an excuse. You just have to look real hard for one. Likeā€¦umā€¦I left it outside to dry and a gang of raiding pigeons stole it for the rice.

Signs of lifeā€¦yes. I can honestly say that all 4 are working perfectly with no signs of damage. Iā€™m not getting any weird performance issues or warning messagesā€¦they all find new attys, read ohms properly and fire great with TC working as it should. Lucky? Well for the RX200 I would say maybe I am. But for 3 DNA200ā€™s to have been totally submerged and all 3 still work, well thatā€™s a testament to their quality if you ask me.
