Squonk or rdta?

I finally found my Utroners there, and they are, to me, pretty good, damn good frankly. Their customer support can be slow but really, it’s a helluva deal for those of us willing to wait on that slow boat. And of course, economically challenged. I have drip tips I bought from fastech that I would be lost without so yeah, I get fastech, too. Let me know about the bottles, cause yeah, too squishy. That may not make sense now, but, you figure it out if you try a high vg juice. That was kinda a shit choice, I know, but Ruthless Menges a trois in 6mg is a juice I know WELL. And it vaped well, after the bugs/features were revealed. Next, we’ll call it the Man hands dilemma. I have large hands for a gal, so, yeah, I dig what you are saying. I squonk usually with my index or middle fingers on the Anita, & have yet to have issues, in fact it’s a light squonk due to the squishiness. In fact having large hands is actually easier to manipulate the mood. I trigger fire with index or thumb fire, whatever. I think you’ll like it. But the battery compartment, omg. Lol, keep me posted on that, while I fix yet another battery wrap, again. BTW, don’t tell anyone, but I like clones, too. I used to get them back in the day when they were cheap and quality was hit and miss. Did you get in on the IPV Revo kits for $35ish?

Sadly, no. I had to be strong and refrain. I’m sure I will regret it later.

No worries, I’ll let ya know. Not sure how I’m gonna like the bottle attachment. I’ll post pics, before it’s considered vintage which in vape terms means I better get my shit together in 2 weeks, lol.

Jim, I started testing it yesterday. Build is simple, 316L SS @ .36. And the TC works wonderful. I got the Vapecell in there this time with no issues. It’s gonna stay that way, too, until I clean the mod. That’s what I did with the first one, and had no issue. Bottle was not a problem and juices is a 70 vg, I believe.

Fasttech didn’t know anything about the 25% code, said it wasn’t authorized by them. However; they applied a 15% refund to my PayPal account honoring the 8th Anniversary promotion even though I didn’t get it in in time. How’s that for customer service
They were in constant communication with me, although each response or reply is a bit delayed due to US CST to Hong Kong China time zone difference. I used their Help Ticket system. When dealing with any vendor, always use the provided help system if there is one for the fastest and best service.

Awesome story with a cool ending. I think folks like to rank on China, but honestly, I have had mostly good experiences

I use one of these RDTA’s with the squonk pin on my Topside single. I only MTL so I have battery (4000 mAh 21700) and juice (2ml in RDTA and 10ml in Topside) for days with this setup.

Nice to hear. I have a Topside 90W myself. Haven’t tried the Vapefly on it yet.

That’s an old school mtl rda on top called the Boost.
Correction: Shift RDA by Boost (Lab)

How do you like the Galaxy RDTA? I supposedly have one on the way

It’s not bad, I run a 3.0mm ID SS316L MTL Clapton coil in it - about 6 wraps and 0.85 ohm. Use the topside in Temp Control (updated firmware) at 15w and 380F and it shines with a custard cookie MTL mix in it. Only complaint is that even using the smallest air holes it is still fairly airy for me, but I am used to OG Berserker RTA’s as a comparison.

Thank you for sharing your setup. I prefer a less restricted airflow for MTL so I don’t think that will bother me. I MTL’ed the DigiTech Siren II for a year plus and I kept the air intakes just a notch below full open.

I really like the shape of the Galaxy. It looks tasty in the pictures :yum: I sure hope mine finds its way to me. I ordered from a vendor I have never used before. They kept emailing me to inform me that “RDA <insert_name_here>” sold out, would I like to choose a different one or get a refund. I would choose one they show is in stock and a day later if get the same email. Out of 3 RDA’s and one mod on my original order (all showed in stock), the Galaxy is the only one left on the revised order. I had to choose a different color mod too! The sale prices were quite good but I’m not sure I’m ever going to play that game again.

It’s an older pic, but it is an early 80’s Kawasaki GPZ1100 A2 model. Somewhat rare and unfortunately no longer in my possession as I gave up bikes around 9 years ago.

The other bike is a early 80’s GSX750ESD which later had a heart transplant to a GSX1150 motor. Scared the hell out of all the little pocket rockets back then… lol

Cool. My first ever ride on the back of a street bike was a Kawasaki Z1000 in 1980 or 81. Not sure of the exact designation and not sure if it was a 1000 or 1100 but I’m sure it both scared the hell out of me and hooked me on street biked at the same time. I believe it was a 1979. The pilot was an older friend and he was insane. Especially on a bike or in a car. I guess I was too, I rode with him! Luckily we survived that day. I ride a 2000 Buell M2 Cyclone. Thanks for sharing your bikes.

Sorry for detailing this tread. Back on track.
